The River View was amazing. To see the night life of Shanghai from you room is really spectacular. There are more than 120 movies to choose from on the TV and a lot of TV Series as well. The beds were comfortable and cozy the room is well laid out and comfortable and they even have a turn down service. The concierge service was outstanding en the staff spoke English well. The hotels Christmas decorations was so cool and really made you feel the Christmas spirit even though it is only November. The location is perfect with the Pearl of Tower, lots of shops, MacDonalds and the Disney Store all in walking distance from the hotel.

I will never forget the view from our room. Fabulous views over the river and the Bund, The Horizon Club lounge was amazing with generous snacks and drinks at various times of the day including happy hour. The staff were lovely - friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast - oh my goodness. Where do I start. Breakfast was the highlight of the day. I have been to some great buffet breakfasts around the world and this beats all. Possibly as many as 17 different stations spread around the breakfast area. Lovely baked goods, fruits, various yoghurts, breads, cheese, smoked fish, salads, dumplings, fresh cooked eggs on demand, a western breakfast section, and sections for each of Korean, Indian, Chinese, southeast asian cuisines, shanghai noodles, shanghai pancakes, another section with western pancakes and french toast, a full range of danish pastries and croissants. The Shanghai foods were particularly delicious. Just the best. The hotel has several lobby areas for sitting, relaxing, meetings. Dinner in Gui Hua Lou - one of their many restaurants - was stunning. Elegant, modern Chinese - definitely haute cuisine. Pudong Shangri-La is luxurious, in all aspects of the hotel that we experienced - the exterior fountains and lights, which were very pretty; the lobbies, with comfortable seating and beautiful paintings, general grandeur, elevators, rooms, and restaurants. All perfect.

The location was good I have everything around me from restaurant to the shopping mall.
The rooms in the hotel was very old. There is a mold in the bathroom and the carpet smell like urine. The Internet was very bad.

Location is perfect and river view is nice. Very good SPA and massage.
It wasn’t clean enough, hotel receptionist took a deposit and this deposit wasn’t pay back after check out. During 3 weeks I am in negotiation with bank and hotel. My bank says it is hotel responsibility, and hotel says it is bank responsibility and this is because of foreign bank. But most tourists are foreigners and foreign bank can’t be the excuse.
