Location is superb if you like this cute local neighborhood. Close to metro station, Julu Lu for food & bars, Huaihai Road shops are fantastic. Older style hotel with beautifully renovated rooms & bathrooms. Staff are friendly and helpful with English. Quiet setting with a lovely garden outlook from the breakfast room.

A very surprising hotel in the heart of Jing'An, 10 minutes walk from Plazza66 or the Jing'An Kerry Center. A building full of history, which takes you back more than 70 years! Even if they don't speak English, the staff will try their best to help you. Basic but correct breakfast.
It is high time to renovate the interior of this hotel which is also of another age and the decoration is really old-fashioned! The cleaning of the rooms is really poor and not at the level of a hotel at this price.

I liked the bathroom, quite large, and a nice automatic bidet toilet. Also very clean and elegant. It's also a beautiful building to walk around and see so much history. It was a lot better than I expected.
The TV only had 2 English options, and it cut out suddenly in the morning.

The outside of the hotel is beautiful. Love the decorations. The scent smells good in the lobby. Excellent staff at reception. Nice breakfast.
The room (twin bed) size was small. Facilities in the room were old especially the television.

A very nice located hotel in the middle of Shanghai. The architecture and decor is nice on the eyes and can feel like your back in the early 1900s. A very good breakfast served in the morning with a good spread of items.
The only disappointment was we had no bathtub in the bathroom, but everything else in the room was good. Also be careful with the Evian water in the room, they charge 30 a bottle without clear instructions.
