Wonderful
The best thing was how spacious the room was. And I found out that not a lot of hotels are available for foreigns so I think is great. I liked the quality and the staff was really nice. They also give you water for free, the location is like 3 blocks away from the 10th subway and right beside it is a Family Mart
To be honest I expected more from the breakfast. It was good, but could've been better. The juice and other stuff were warm and maybe they needed more foreign-friendly food (I'm an Asian so I enjoyed the food in general but I can see that there was a lack of options)

- Only 1-2 english speakers despite the fact it is called an INTERNATIONAL hotel - Breakfast is limited in choice, no opportunity to grab what I want by myself. Limited pre-sets - Food as itself is strange by its taste... - No water or tea on breakfest, no cold drinks, only 2 strange liquids similar to milk and Yuppy orange which were warm. - No gym, only a small room WITHOUT conditioner and 1 cardio training machine - WARM WATER IN THE SHOWER IS WITH A LIMITED USAGE OF ONLY 15 MINUTES. AFTERWARD YOU NEED TO WAIT 30 MINUTES. IF YOU ARE IN THE FAMILY ROOM THIS IS HORRIBLE - DIRTY TOWELS, ALWAYS.

The location is great, walking distance to two metro lines (8, 10). I had really low expectations based on other reviews, but honestly it wasn't bad. The bed was a bit hard, but definitely sleepable- had a clean bathroom.... but don't expect the Waldorf.
A couple more pillows, but I think that every where I go.

The staff were friendly
Hotel smelt like stale smoke. It's clear standards have dropped. Ripped towels with holes in them. Kind of dusty. Stale cigarette smoke made me feel a bit sick. Also booked 2 rooms with a bath. Neither room had a Bath. Rooms also had no clothes ironing facilities.

Lack of cleanliness, beside the location is not a good hotel to foreigners, lack of courtesy toward guests foreigners in Shanghai/ China.

Pleasant
Clean, good location and good value. The metro is very close which if you get a card is a great way to get around this huge city. The staff were polite and a couple had prity good English.
The breakfast. Only one per room and it's very poor. Limited range of options and it's prity much the same every day. No tourist help desk or leaflets.
