Very Good
The room had an excellent view of Nanjing road towards the Bund. It was a pleasure to wake up and go to sleep to that view. It was also quite spacious.
Room cleanliness could be improved, rather dusty at places.

The staff were kind and upgraded us to a higher floor.
My room still had dust. (some areas ) On the day I checked out, there was also a fishy smell in the elevator.

Location
It has a lot of dust even already told the staff , it’s still the same . Decoration and room doesn’t look like 5 stars hotel . Hair dryer is broken and bathroom is old , shower water is so light . Carpet is old and dirty. We got room at 6 pm which is very late.

Staff were amazing. So attentive. Really five star service. Location is great for sightseeing. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was quite extensive.
Rooms could use some renovation. Room design was dated and lots of wasted space. WiFi was so slow.

While i was in the swimming pool 2 days ago a chinese men came to talk with the lifeguard and put his water in his bottle in the pool!!!!!!! Me and my family were shocked!!!! And the guy watching the pool saw him because was talking to him and didn’t tell anything!!! DISGUSTING.
Our room toilet was not working, i needed to call the service man 3 times because water was exiting out of the toilet!
We stayed 3 nights and we were 2 adults and one teen and every day they give 2 toothbrush!! Did the pretend my daughter not wash her teeth???
Room nice but dated, our shower had a piece broken.

The location is right next to Nanjing Road, and a few minutes walk to People’s Square Station. All the sites we wanted to go to are all within a 15 minute cab ride. Our room was upgraded from executive to king deluxe suite for free.
The staff are also very helpful, from tracking packages that were sent ahead of time, to helping us book a cab to the airport when we were really in a rush, we didn’t even have to ask, they just offered (shoutout to Dylan), to the little gifts they gave us at the end of our stay, they really made our stay easy. Thanks to the front desk staff Diana, Lily, Aya and Quain-G!
For some reason, I couldn’t get the room heater to work.

The location was great, staff were nice. The breakfast was so delicious. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean as well. Everything in the room was working very well. The staff were very helpful! Staff were very helpful with transfer! We really appreciate Julia, Colin and other staff!
We came to Shanghai very early in the morning, and the check-in was as 15:00, the hotel gave as the room at around 15:30, we were okay and understanding with it since there were a lot of people. However they said that there will be an upgrade for us, when we came to the upgraded room, it really didn’t seem like an upgrade. The room interior was dark ( we booked a nice bright room), and the smell was not good. But we talked with a staff and they gave us a nice bigger room! So it was very nice. Other than that we have no complaints.

The hotel location is perfect, everything is near by you can go everywhere by just walking ,
And cheer to the receptionist name Aya , Quain and Lily they all are so helpful and lovely thank you so much , I will definitely come back to stay for sure

I had an absolutely perfect stay at Conrad Shanghai. Everything exceeded my expectations from the comfort of the room to the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The level of professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding.
I would especially like to recognize Kylie, Julia, Camille, Lily, Quain G, and Diana. Their service was exceptional warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They made me feel truly welcome and ensured that every part of my stay was smooth and enjoyable.
It’s rare to experience such consistency in service across an entire team. Thank you for making my stay memorable. I will definitely return and highly recommend Conrad Shanghai to my friends.

Only the location of the hotel.
Despite the very convenient location and an impressive hotel exterior, the actual stay was disappointing. The room and bathroom were poorly maintained, with visible stains and dirt throughout the toilet area. This is far below what I would expect from a Conrad property.
