Great views of Shanghai, easy access to metro etc.
Expensive for what is available., Expect to pay top London hotel prices. Executive lounge the poorest we have visited. No alcoholic drinks available until 5.30 in the evening. Snacks almost non existent
Apart from paying for the room on arrival, also asked for a deposit of £100. As dinner was getting on for £200 had to pay the dinner bill before leaving the restaurant. Apparently in China they cannot block money on your credit card. Not a great way of treating the guests!

Good location. Clean and tidy.
The difference between deluxe room and executive room is that executive rooms are on the higher floor. However, the deluxe rooms start from 39th floor which is already very high. So there is no need to pay more for executive room.

Superior quality, luxurious hotel in a great location. The breakfast buffet is simply outstanding! The room was very clean and comfortable, huge bed and a stunning view. All the staff are super friendly and helpful.

Actually it’s the JW, I least liked.
It was not the Marriott feeling like I have had in other Marriott’s.
I won’t spend this money next time, there are other options.
Lobby system on 38th floor, you had to change lifts to reach your floor, the layout of Bar on 38th was not inviting, breakfast was not directly bad, but I skipped breakfast half of my days and had food in town instead, and I had chosen Marriott because I wanted to be sure they had extensive breakfast option.
