The bed was too hard, and the shower head needs some attention, kept falling down.

Nice heritage building in a great location close to the Bund. The building is the real deal- 1930s art deco. The rooms are of course completely refurbished but comfortable and spacious. Theyre well-equipped too: Japanese toilet, coffee maker, kettle, etc. I will stay here again on a future visit.

1930's art deco hotel beautiful designs..great chinese and western style breakfast, very helpful staff, cordial and excellent service. Staff organised thing
s, taxis, umbrellas in the rain, recommended sights to visit, restaurants to eat..!
I felt is was a little overpriced and breakfast initially not included, quoted as 88 yuan per person extra, also felt ambushed about bed size .. double bed 1.5 metre, but pay extra and get 1.8 mtr bed size..
resolved with a little bit of firmness and compromise .. also none of the rooms shown offered street views, just the back of apartments

Hotel has history, not the new one. Location, facility itself is awesome. Staffs are super nice.
I didnt like the fact that 4 of us cant stay in one room, no such family room, we had to split into 2 rooms.
