Location was great, it's just a 10 min walk to the Hongqiao railway station with access to the metro and high speed trains and is accessible via a footbridge. Its also close to the expo center. The hotel has self service laundry on the 2nd floor for just 30 Chinese Yen, you can wash and dry a full load. I had the breakfast buffet which was great, a lot of variety with both Western and Chinese food. They also have an on-site restaurant that serves lunch and dinner with decent variety including vegetarian options.
The menu for room service is limited and I thought the portion sizes were small. I also had trouble communicating what I wanted because of the language barrier but was finally able to get my order in.

The staff was very helpful and changed my room where I can be comfortable (air circulation and 21 C)
My original room was heater only and the room can’t go lower than 25C and only get hotter. Room has no window to open. If I turn off the hvac there is no air movement and it’s just too hot

It is within walking distance to Shanghai Airport but all six of us couldn't navigate our way there. Wasted two hours and ended up getting a Taxi. Just get the taxi it is only about $5 aud

The fact that I only had time to stay for one night.
Very unfriendly staff. We had a booking for 5 people with free breakfast. They only wanted to give us 4 free breakfasts.

Almost everything was exceptional
Was not able to get food late at night. There were several other people also that needed a late dinner. Or something to eat.
