Location is wonderful. It is right in the neighborhood of Renmin Square, easy walkable distance to the bund, Nanjing Pedestrian road, with access to so many great restaurants and shopping malls, as well as the subway station (Line 1/2/8).
Staff at the front desk, restaurant, and cleaning crew are always friendly and attentive. Since every time we came back to visit Shanghai, we would usually choose to stay in this hotel, many of the staff recognized us when we checked-in and/or visited the restaurant for breakfast. We greatly appreciate all the hard work/efforts devoted by them (for example, manager Rita at the restaurant), to make us feel like home during each of our stay.
If I were to make any suggestion, I'd mention two things:
1) it would be great if the hotel could offer various bed sizes (e.g., two twin size bed, king size bed) as options where the customers could choose from. To the best of my knowledge, out of all the rooms we stayed (premier or executive one-bedroom), all the beds are queen-sized bed, which appeared to be too small/crowded for two adults with over 170 cm in heights. The bedroom is spacious enough to easily hold a king-sized bed, or two twin-size beds. And of course, I would assume that the customers who want to have a better sleeping quality/experience, would be willing to pay for the additional costs.
2) Additionally, although it is very thoughtful that the hotel has a specific designated area for package pick-up (it's in their laundry room), given the high volume package deliveries, oftentimes, the laundry room (package pick-up area) is not very well organized. If some good solutions can be sorted out, where residents can easily find their packages without needing to go through a pile of packages, that would be really nice.

Very convenient for Didi to pick- up and drop off. Close to convenience stores and 6-8 mins walk Huanghe Road which is full of restaurants and food to pick from. Jia Jia Tang Bao is in the same street.
Room is very spacious and very clean. The kitchen was as if no one ever used it and it was very new.
Love the facilities provided- they have everything we need. We went during winter and they had the centralised heater on which was a bit too warm for us. So we requested for access to the balcony so we can have the windows open for ventilation and staffs were happy to help to make our stay comfortable.
I love how they have so much cabinet space for clothes and items with many hangers provided. Toilet itself is warm and comfortable.

Rooms are spacious, very clean, comfortable beds and pillows.
The kitchenette is a plus, and the bidet toilet seat is a plus as well.
Location is very good, close to Nanjing Rd. and it has a Family Mart just around the corner.
Although the staff from the breakfast room does their best to accommodate guests needs, for the size of the Hotel, the restaurant is too small

We like the location、Breakfast and staff was very nice .
The property has aged since my last stay in 2019. Also you had to pay to see anything halfway decent on the TV. To get a few minutes of news you had to endure commercials advertising questionable medical products for about 10 minutes. No tv in bedroom as 2019 had one but nothing to watch anyway.

Quiet , decent location in front of a park. A short 600 m walk to the Metro “peoples park”. Apt had a kitchenette, unfortunately no self in the hotel.
We booked the hotel for two people , but there was only one breakfast included!!
I am travelling for 50+ years , but i never had to pay for the second person breakfast in a double room.
The taxi driver could not find the location . Order the taxi in front of the Marriot Marquis Hotel across the street.

We like this hotel (we have stayed previously). It is close to many of the tourist sites, easy to get to with the metro, nice rooms, good breakfast and (what we like the most) very friendly and helpful staff! We will be coming back :)
