Location is great. Stuff was nice.
We stayed for 3 nights, experienced 3 things that were disruptive and unacceptable. 1-one late night, someone started remodeling work in the room next to us, drilling and loud noise which was very disruptive for night rest after a long day; 2-the cleaning person forgot to close it after cleaning, when we came back from outside and found the door of the room was left wide open with all our luggage inside; fortunately, nothing seems lost. 3-the bathtub can not seal the water, we got a tub liner as a fix.

The hotel was beautifully situated in a lovely part of Hangzhou near the canal
The rooms were not very private, large areas of glass but with people walking past. We felt exposed and unsafe. The reception was not manned. The restaurant used QR codes to order food. We ordered what was described as mushroom risotto but beef was served. No understanding of vegetarian options or allergies.

Everything. The newly concept designed mansion behind an old temple, through the rock lane and next to the historic canal, 5 mins walking to the metro station Every room has different design and concept. Helpful owner and staff. You can experience Hanfu rental for free.

The room and surrounding area was beautiful. The room was clean and there is a nice cafe area on the second floor with delicious food. On the roof area they have a singer at night and he's really good. You can pretty much walk anywhere but there's a lot to do around the hotel.
The hotel has a very small sign so it is a bit difficult to find. However, the hotel owner caught us on our way by and made sure to lead us to our room.

Very nice room and friendly staff. Nice balcony and very large.
Extremely loud until 1am everyday. There is a bar or something on the second floor, so closing all windows didn’t help. I also slept with earplugs and could still hear and feel it. If they could at least stop the noise at 10-11pm at the very least. I could really sleep.

I absolutely loved it, we had a little bit of a hard time finding where to enter but once we called the reception they were very kind and helpful. The room was incredible though, very lovely and great location.

The property is very charming and thw staff is very friendly and helpful. The bar/cafe is also very nice and a good place to have a drink. Breakfast is also very good and very traditional. For the price is hard to get something better. Rooms were very clean and very spacious as well. However the property can me elusive. There is jot obvious sign and it took us some time to locate. Maybe add a sign (in English at least). Location is good but probably more suitable for families. It is very quite very fast (after 9) and there is not really a convenience store nearby.

This place was gorgeous - best place we stayed in China - room felt like an Austrian ski lodge and the bath was divine - really highly recommend this place.
The breakfast could be better - it was plentiful but if they could add some western elements like scramled eggs it would lift it infinitely - and perhaps add coffee to the breakfast too!

The hotel is next to a local temple with plenty of vegetarian dining options around and a canal-side market selling curated crafts. Hotel staff is generally helpful, and some of them can speak English, and the hotel itself is in a traditional building with a lovely inner yard and upper floors (cafe, rooftop, etc) where we found cosy working space. Our room is spacious with charming retro touches. Would love to go back if we have chance!
