The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the location is excellent. The shopping area is less than a 10-minute walk away, with plenty of food options nearby. West Lake is just across the road, offering a beautiful view. A very convenient and enjoyable stay overall.

perhaps only the location
old hotel, aircon was not working well. initially was assigned a room at the further end of the corridor which was very far from the lift. staff helped relocated my room to the other wing which was closer to lift. However aircon on both rooms did not function properly and when i turned on the fan to max, it made noise that make it difficult for me to sleep. There were also many ants on the table tops near the TV

The location on the lake was amazing. it was my first time in town. this was one of the best hotels i've stayed in. Jimmy at the front desk was outstanding.
I wish i could have stayed longer.

The breakfast is prohibitively overpriced in terms of quality and variety. The location is very convenient, as the hotel sits a few steps across the lakeshore boulevard from West Lake, which is the crown jewel of the city. Traffic noise is minimal in the guest room. The hotel valets and bellmen are all very courteous, attentive, and diligent.
The breakfast is prohibitively overpriced in terms of quality and variety. The guest room shower water temperature (centrally controlled) is less than comfortable (less than lukewarm and the shower head water adjustment system is extremely difficult to maneuver). The guest room carpet seems to be worn and definitely needs to be replaced. The front-desk staff is not very personable or receptive to guest feedback.

The room was nice but average. I find it very expensive for such an accommodation. I know Hangzhou is very popular but this is too expensive for the quality of the room.

The location of Grand Hyatt is excellent.
The W.C. in the toilet is old model, this is the only negative side that I cannot give full mark. Further improvement is required, please refer to the Japan's standard with heater and auto washing. However, the room design is perfect.

Great location on the West Lake and right next to the main shopping street. Decent sized rooms. Renovated. Grand lobby with good pastries and cakes. Walking distance to Xi Hu Tian Di, a lovely collection of restaurants in a garden setting.
The 8/F rooftop is only for Grand Club members. Not accessible to all hotel guests.
