- The hosts are very very nice, friendly and helpful
- The simple chinese style breakfast was nutritious, cheap, varied everyday and tasted good
- Modern, clean bathroom
- High CP value
- Room quite small and crampy
- Wall in the room not clean
- Bed was very hard (the hardest in our life and we travel a lot worldwide)
- Location is far away from metro and city centre. You have to take taxi or didi everywhere. But we knew this before and it was not a problem for us

Staff (although communicating only in Chinese) has been very friendly, helping out to find buses, places and giving tips. The hotel is located in the West Lake area, at few steps from the forest and few minutes walk to the lake. Bus stop is at 2 minutes, but service stops at 7pm. Therefore taxi is needed to come back in the evening (not a problem using Didi ride app). Very good breakfast and nice welcome.
Cleanliness can be improved.

Location- not a very convenient location for foreigners especially where everything needs to confirm via WeChat or Alipay. Not many E hailing drivers would like to pick up and send to this location. As we been turned down twice.
According to the staff, mostly their guest would have a car - I assume they are china guests.
Also I realised what they advertised on booking.com is not quite the same as the actual property’s location. I steered to have doubts with all these china air bnb ad. Better stay in a world branded hotel even a 4 star is much trust worthy

Breakfast was good and served in pleasant surroundings outside. The outside balcony was very nice. The staff were all helpful and friendly.
It would have been helpful to have a minibar in the room to keep drinks cool but space in the room was limited.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated the visit and transportation information provided by Ms. Zhou.
The room is small but clean and cozy.
The simple breakfast is inexpensive, just RMB 10. We enjoyed our early morning breakfast in open-air.
One of the staff even went out to show us the Sakura garden with species from all over the world.
The wi-fi was absolutely hopeless. Make sure you have your digital card.
Traffic jams are very serious in all the roads around Xiwu (the West Lake). You can consider ride a bike.

The location is walking distance from the lake and leifeng pagoda. The property is cozy, easy to access, clean and have 1st floor room which very good for one who doesnt want to climb the stairs. The staff very helpful, kind and enjoyable to talk to, Lulu & Rongrong (hope I pronounce correctly?) is very nice, give me some sweet, give travel point info, for foringer who traveling with no chinese speaking i think i feel the most comfortable to communicate here. The room was cozy and clean, bathroom & toilet is new and clean, happy stay for overall ??

The bathrooms were excellent - it was winter and the hotel had installed a hot air blow in the shower cubicle. It was so clean and very nicely arranged. Even the room slippers were of good quality. Towels were thick.
The reception staff (Rong Rong and Lulu) were so helpful and kind. They paid attention to our needs and could recommend places to eat and best sites in Hangzhou to visit.
My mother in law had a fall and they went with us to the clinic to see that she was attended to well.

Breakfast was amazing. Location was great to visit the lake. Enjoyed the environment very much.
They would not accept payment with card. Only Wechat or Alipay, which is very challenging for foreign visitors. Advise to take cash to pay.
