Hotel staff are very nice and friendly, they check if you need help and prompt with any service requests, I remember one of them named Li Si Yu. Room is good space, shower water pressure is good. There are quite abit of food choices within walking distance and entrance to Tian He Park just right next to it.
Would prefer if there's bidet in the toilet.

The breakfasts were good with different choices of food. There’s a nice park just beside the hotel. Metro station is very nearby as well.
We came for the Canton Fair and stayed at the property for 2 nights. On the last day after we checked out and carried furniture products to get a taxi to the airport, while waiting in front of the lobby, a hotel security suspected us steal some plastic seats (furniture product) and as he doesn’t speak english he kept asking other staff to come and inspect us, which was so unprofessional and irritating. Don’t just inspect your hotel guests without any proof like that, it ruins your reputation.

- Staff only tidied up the bed and what's on the tables, not the floor. Still there are dusts and dirt on the floor. Hope they vacuum more properly. - Smoke smell hits hard just to step out from the room

Room was old looking and the carpet was not clean also the ceiling has several stains on it and the other problem was the bad smell from the toilet. They have spa and also in the hotel pictures show the massage room but they don’t have the service.

The room was a great size and the views of the city lovely. Breakfast had a lot of choice. The staff were excellent and friendly. It was very clean. The extra two chairs and small table were very handy.
I am gluten intolerant and there was no allergen guide at the breakfast so there was a lot of food I couldn’t risk trying. The bathroom needed renovating as was tired looking. The bathroom floor was very slippery once it was wet. We stayed for two weeks and found the lack of storage for clothes frustrating

The room was big, however very old school and there is no bell man to help with the luggage. When check in never explain the facilities as well. As the toilet has 2 tap and I ask it is a drinking water tap. The reception say yes but when we turn on the tap the water is milky. As the hotel provides 2 small bottle of water only. Found a used matchstick inside the toilet. The breakfast is full of spread and again the chef is not friendly. When asked him how to order for a omelette he just point there, I was like what. Overall I don’t think they are a 5 star hotel. The room was upgrade to with a canton view.

This might was my 3th stay at Soluxe. The room is generous and the services are good. The location is incredible, and the shuttle bus to the Fair is always a plus.
Very hard to change the room's temperature, even with total control of the AC. Some parts of the room were not properly cleaned. For the price, one might expect a 5-star breakfast. Although there's plenty of variety in Asian cuisine, that doesn't happen with European/western cuisine. Just an example: it's a huge breakfast room (huge hotel, so yeah, lots of people), and there are only 2 coffee machines, and most of the time, only 1 is working. Not to mention that the display is only shown in Chinese, and the quality of the coffee is... well, you can imagine. Also, how is it possible not to have different jams (I'm not talking about that huge glass with something inside that's always open with a single spoon for everyone's use)? Sometimes you can find strawberry jam, but in the span of 3 days, the jam was unavailable in 2 of them. Also, no honey. And the quality of the pastries is undeniably bad. The fact is that I was hoping that my first impression of the breakfast was wrong. And the 2nd I was hoping for total unluck on my side. Now I can clearly state this: the Soluxe Hotel does not offer a 5-star breakfast. And the hotel is expensive. Just to finish, the WIFI speed is simply not good.
