There is absolutely nothing I liked about the hotel. Not one feature, not one corner of the property lived up to even basic expectations, let alone the high rates they charge. The only saving grace was the staff. Despite the awful state of the hotel, the ladies at reception and those who prepare breakfast were genuinely friendly, polite, and tried their best. Their kindness stood in stark contrast to the indifference shown by whoever is responsible for running this place.
This hotel is an absolute disgrace and the fact that it charges luxury prices makes it even worse. It’s painfully obvious the owners have completely stopped caring about the place. Everything feels neglected, tired, and unloved. The furniture is ancient and worn out, long past the point of needing replacement. The entire property feels run down, like proper maintenance hasn’t happened in years. And as if that weren’t bad enough, dirty laundry was left sitting in the hallway for two full days. In a so-called “high-end” hotel, that’s not just unprofessional but it’s disgusting.
Breakfast was another disappointment. It was served cold, bland, and clearly not given the slightest attention. The one saving grace was the staff, they were honestly genuinely friendly and did their best despite the terrible conditions they are working with.
For the amount of money they are charging, this place is a complete joke. Spend your money somewhere that actually values basic cleanliness, upkeep, and guest experience.

I stayed at Paco Hotel for 12 days during the Canton Fair and had a very pleasant experience overall.
The location is excellent, and the free shuttle bus to the expo is a great convenience. The staff are outstanding always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything, no matter how big or small.
The breakfast buffet offers a nice variety of choices, including fresh fruits, vegetables, and really good coffee.
There are also plenty of small restaurants nearby, including several halal options, which makes the stay even more convenient.
While the rooms could use some updating and more thorough cleaning, the overall value for the price is definitely worth it

Very flexible room cleaning staff, there was a couple days where we were too lazy to go out and the staff cleaned between 7 and 10pm when we finally went out for dinner, I thought we'd have to wait until the next day!
Very polite and helpful staff, they accomodated us a late checkout (3pm) with no extra charge.
Wi-Fi was slow and lost access intermittently (but there's a RJ45 slot to connect via Ethernet which I imagine has better quality). TV Remote didn't work after 1 day but the buttons on the side of the TV did the job. The shower needed a bit of resealing as water leaked when we took a longer shower, but no biggie.

I like the professionalism of the front desk workers and a Special thanks to Mei, whenever i wanted to go out she book taxi for me and the guy at night shift also is doing wonderful. The hotel breakfast is amazing, I highly recommend Paco Hotel at Shuiyin Road Guangzhou.

I stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience in every way.
The room was very beautiful, comfortable, and everything was clean and well-organized.
The location is perfect — very close to everything. It’s near Arabic restaurants, malls, and shopping areas, which made getting around super easy and convenient.
