Good for the price. Nearby have good restaurants and also small eateries. Rooftop bar is nice if weather allows.
Pillows are too soft, and shower place have water flooding problem.

Nicely styled and beautiful room that looks out across the river, easy to find, helpful staff and decent size
The cleanliness could be better, the tiles in the bathroom had mold on the grouting, needed some tlc as property maintenance was waning

love the quality of the amenities given. the nespresso machine was a great touch to help start the day. loved the bathtub. love that the view overlooks to the river
its a little far walk to train station. pillows were too soft but staff was able to provide a memory foam pillow which was great

I requested the highest floor for the room type that I booked but I was only at 4th floor. My view of the river was blocked by the trees along the road .

The location is awesome and the staff is really polite and friendly. The room is fairly clean
It’s a bit pity that all the windows are shut completely. Maybe it’s a regulation of the city but it would be really nice to have some fresh air from time to time

Bar was nice.. good whisky and sometimes live music.

We stayed during the Canton Fair in spring and found the hotel great value for money. They had a shuttle running to and from the fair each day, which was very convenient. We visited the rooftop bar a few times and loved the night time views and all the lights. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfy and I really enjoyed the decor. The location is in an older part of town by the river. Lots of trees make it very pleasant and easy walk to do a river cruise and to the Beijing Rd shopping area. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Short taxi ride to Shamian Island which was nice to walk around.
On the second visit the shower drain was blocked in my room so had a bit of flood but nothing that caused any big issues. The first stay buffet breakfast wasn't actually a buffet on the first day and a few people didn't get their breakfast in time to catch the shuttle to the fair. However they sorted it out thereafter.

The housekeeping lady 红姐 was cheerful, approachable and thoughtful. The reception was friendly and accommodative :) breakfast was by order and served hot; the variety was sufficient. Location of the hotel was excellent with close proximity to Beijing Road while staying just out of the noise and buzz for a good rest. The area has plenty of local shops with very decent foods options, and a view of the river. Great spot for morning runs along the river as well.
The placement of some items within the room did not make sense for me, and it will be good to have more privacy for the shower area.

If you ever visit Guangzhou I highly recommend LN Hotel 5 in Yue Xiu district near the river.
I have never experienced the level of service and personal attention as I have here. When I was sick, the manager had the door man walk me to pharmacy for medicine. And when the first pharmacy was confused the doorman said let’s go somewhere else to ensure I got what I needed. The night I was very cold the manager had someone in my room in 5 minutes to adjust the thermostat AND delivered a spare fluffy blanket. When I wanted to mail something they immediately handled it on the spot (prior hotel just told me to go to the post office). One day while waiting for a cab/DiDi I realized the weather was too nice for the hoodie I was wearing so I asked the lobby if they could keep it…. Instead they took it to my room. Today I asked about check out time…. Don’t need to leave for the airport until 4 pm…. And they said I could stay until 3! THREE. It may be a slow day but wow!
Just so many little things they did and always with kindness and a good attitude . Plus the Wi-Fi was strong and reliable…the river view is beautiful… the bed is awesome… the room is well appointed… and it’s location is just 15-20 minutes from almost every tourist spot I visited. Plus almost all staff spoke English. Ben and Paul were especially amazing

My only suggestion is slightly brighter lights, especially near the table/desk and in the bathroom for those of us who apply makeup. Even a lighted makeup mirror near the sink would help for makeup. But this was a minor issue

Ben and his team were awesome, they were super helpful and very attentive - 6* service. Rooms were quiet, clean and well presented. Location was great right by the river with nice views. Roof top bar was great and so was the band ! We cannot reccomend any higher as a place to stay and the service from all the staff cannot be equalled - Thank you Ben see you in October when we return,
