Nicholas the manager here is amazing and super helpful. He is the foundation of this property and I hope he is valued as such. He is very friendly and super helpful take ships time to assist and does it with such detail and persistence

The buffet was the same every day they should mix the food and make new dishes for some days and in my room the last reservations there was mosquitos in my room they should do fumigation time to time for insects

Really nice luxury feeling, generous service (replenished the consumables every day, ordered taxi, etc...), good breakfast, nice view over the river and super comfy large imperial-size (if this exists) bed with comfy pillows. There are a few shops in the same complex.
The location is kind of remote (40min. by taxi (55RMB) from the Shamian island, Beijing Rd, etc...)

Staffs are not friendly and not helpful . 1. Most of staffs don’t have smile on their faces , looks very unhappy . 2. Reception staffs don’t speak good English .3, when we checked in , no one remind us the breakfast end time is 10:00 am . So When we went to the lobby to ask the breakfast location (at exact 10:00) , the staff told us that it was finished. If he reallly wanna help, he should have told us go to have a look if there was still some food .and actually we did go to see and got some food before they remove the food . 4. Surprised to see that the area in front of reception didn’t have any sofas to sit , only found 4 set of small sofas in the next lobby . Door can’t close by itself because there is some problem ( the staff know ). We also have to push hard to open the door . Every time after pressing Toilet flush button , there is very loud noise and sounds like baby screaming !
