Exceptional
Believe it or not, even though I didn’t really enjoy the city of Chengdu, this hotel completely made my stay worthwhile. It is a high-quality hotel with very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and a beautiful bathroom. While the view wasn’t particularly impressive, the room provided everything I needed.
Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and great taste. What impressed me the most, how's, was the staff. They were extremely kind and accommodating, even allowing us a complimentary three-hour late check-out when they realized we needed extra time.
This hotel truly saved our trip, turning what could have been a disappointing city visit into a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it!

The hotel basically kept what it promised and advertised. The location, the facilities and the room were as expected for a 5 star hotel. My child enjoyed the TV in the bath. The electric curtain shutters came in handy as well.
The services of the hotel have left a lot to be desired. I could not tell the differentiating highlights it advertised (butler service) from any other lower ranking hotel, yet the price did stand out. The receptionist was more interested in selling us their higher class rooms when she learned that we had a long flight and would like an early check-in. There was a lack of empathy for its guests. Nevertheless, they did let us check in earlier after we insisted and waited for 1.5 hours.
The facilities were good but also dated, the toilet door knob was broken and was only fixed after 2 days.

The breakfast was good, though the buffet dinner is exceptional! The room is spacious and well designed. The smart toilet is very convenient.
Nothing of the kind. I can only recommend to have a free sparkling wine for breakfast, as it worldwide normal practice in such top-level hotels.

The room was very stuffy on our first night, somewhat the Aircon didn’t work properly even we turned down it to the lowest temperature.
During my staying there,most staff were good however a few of staff’s attitude feels not really welcoming.

Central location, clean hotel, friendly staff.
Heating was way too hot, and it was centralised so we weren’t able to adjust the temperature. We had to ask hotel staff to open the window (16th floor) and we had to sign this consent form to get it done. Apparently the hotel staff said a lot of people were complaining about the same issue.
Having hotel windows open and heating on wasn’t a great option. The road noise was constant, and the cold and hot air were blowing at the same time.
In addition, the ventilation of the hotel restaurant may not be very good as there js strong cooking smell in the lobby.

The location is good .
Luandry service is good.
While we checked in to the hotel, they didn't find our booking, we have provided the hardcopy of our reservation, and they took more than 30 minutes to resolve issues. The Bulter Manager offered us a bottle of wine and upgrades to a larger fruit basket for each room (3 rooms), but they only delivered to two of our rooms.
We also experienced the broken lights, and the TV is not working . St Regis is famous for bulter service, but we didn't meet our overall expectations .
