This place is incredible. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was amazing. The rooms were large and clean and had everything you need to enjoy your stay and they wrote me a personalized note. 10/10 definitely recommend.
There wasnt really any nightlife walking distance that I could tell (but I wasnt there long), but if that isnt important to you no big deal

Second time staying at this hotel, and I really like the place. Every time I return to Chengdu, I will certainly stay here again.
Excellent location, comfortable rooms, and very close to the metro. The staff is extremely courteous, kind, and friendly. The hotel food—both the breakfast and the meals served at the restaurant—is very good!
My special thanks to Juliya, Emma, Blair, and Joey for their hospitality and for the excellent stay we had!

The room was lovely and very spacious. Beds were super comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Location was very convenient, being only a short walk away from the subway station, but also lots of restaurants nearby as well as the one in the hotel itself. Breakfast was nice too! We also received a complementary bottle of wine and cake, which was a wonderful surprise.

We returned again as we enjoyed the service last time. The staff were very helpful and we really felt we could relax after a day of touring and exploring Chengdu. Cute panda at a checkout and a bottle of wine were also nice touches. Thank you, Frank, Julia, Emma, Joey, kitchen staff, the porter and the cleaning staff team, not able to remember all of your names but you really made us feel really welcome.

Blair was an amazing hostess! She and the hotel staff were very helpful - organized pick up and drop off to the airport for my 24 hour layover. I arrived at night, so I was very grateful to have someone meet me at the airport with a Wengdu sign. Room was huge, bed was comfortable.

Location is excellent! Staff was very helpful Juliya,Emma ,Blair and Joey.
We read in their brochure they can offer us a hot milk in the evening, so we asked for it and they bring to our room, very nice gesture.
We book tours with hotel staff before arrival and everything was perfect!
We were on 4th floor which was not convenient, but staff helped us with our luggage, so no problem!

The location, vibe, and style of the hotel were amazing and very climactic. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly - especially the manager Frank, who left us a bottle of wine and a birthday gift. Breakfasts were nice, and the room we stayed in was superb - soft beds, tea set, and everything we wanted. The laundry service was wery helpful and hands-off - we just left our stuff to be washed and dried, and got it back after returning to the hotel after a day in the city

A Perfect Stay at Wenjun Courtyard Hotel
Our experience at Wenjun Courtyard Hotel in Chengdu was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the entire front desk team welcomed us with genuine warmth and hospitality. Manager Frank deserves special mention — he looked after us like family, always checking in, guiding us through our plans, and making sure every detail of our stay was perfect.
The hotel itself is gorgeous: a serene, traditional-style courtyard that feels like a hidden gem in the city. The location could not be better — central, convenient, and ideal for exploring Chengdu. The food was consistently delicious, and the tea table experience, where we enjoyed different teas in a calm setting, was a beautiful touch.
We were also impressed by how helpful the staff were in arranging tours at very fair prices — everything was seamless. There’s even free laundry service, which was a lifesaver during our trip. And for international travelers, the English-speaking team makes everything incredibly easy.
Wenjun Courtyard Hotel truly exceeded every expectation. Exceptional people, beautiful surroundings, and unforgettable hospitality. Highly recommended — we will be back!

This was our second time here and it was just as good as I remember the first time. The hotel is beautifully decorated with watercolor paintings. The restaurant and tea house are fantastic and delicious. The staff are exceptionally nice. The hotel is located in a cute area near an amazing park filled with tea houses and lounging options.

Staying here during my trip in China was one of the highlights. Everything you can read from previous commentaries about this place are totally true. Oustanding location, beatiful place, great breakfast, very good restaurant, cleanliness and everything was great. I've been lucky to had the chance to be in a lot of hotels around the world, with great or similar facilities as this one, but the difference in this place is made by the persons who works there, everyone is comitted to do their job and make your stay as easy as possible, and this excellence in service makes the difference among other hotels. Big thanks to Juliya, Vivi, Emma, Blair, Joey and everyone else, you all made our stay in Chengdu great. I will no hesitate to book this hotel on my next time Chengu, because soon or later I will be back there.
