Very Good
I liked this place very much. It was fantastically clean and new, the owners and daughter were very warm and friendly. It is 100% safe and secure. The price for _two_ nights including two dinners (I ordered from a menu and the extra was added to my total) and two breakfasts, as well as some snacks and drinking water and a taxi there
for my trip to the Great Wall, all for only 1,060 Yuan ( less than $200CAD, or $145USD).
The daughter XinRui speaks English fairly well, her father (Mr. Cao) is a kind and gentle man and his wife is welcoming and an excellent cook. Neither of her parents can speak any English but Mr. Cao uses a translation app to communicate. I speak some Chinese which helped a lot.
The room was chilly the first night until I asked for a heater. There was excellent shampoo but no soap or toothpaste until I asked. They are learning foreigners' different expectations. The 5G wifi only worked outside my room. I am sending them a direct message about any issues and I am sure that they will adjust everything accordingly.

Great hotel near the Great Wall, very close to the ticket office. They picked me up from the ticket office with car and dropped me off the next day. There is restaurant downstairs. The building is nice and modern. Good communication, everybody was very helpful. Thank you.
Bed little bit too hard! Bit far from the ticket office on foot but they took me there with car so no big deal

The owners went on and behind to make sure I'm happy. They picked me up with out charge from the wall, showed me where was my bus stop and even brang me there with a hand written note so I could make it back to the city. The home made food was delicious and I had so much fun playing pool against the chef.
The mattress was a little bit thin and hard but that's my personal opinion since I love soft mattresses.

Really great and friendly owners. They communicate with you using google translation, which goes quite smooth. The lady can cook you very tasty dinner or breakfast for reasonable prices, and e.g. offer a beer. Very friendly pople. Just have in mind, durring a winter time may be really cold in the area, the owners heats the rooms with a fast aircondition - wich in my opinion solves this issue. This is not a luxury hotel, but a cozy farm with basic furnitures and conditions but very friendly stuff - keep it in mind
some minor issues ( in my opinion not disadvantages) above

this place felt like home, away from home. the hostess was very sweet and kind. and willing to help in any way that she could. the accommodation was comfortable and conveniently located near the Mutianyu Great Wall.
I would definitely recommend this accommodation to a traveler who wants a unique experience with a feeling of home. this was an experience unlike any other and gave me a different perspective on life outside of the Beijing city center. the people in the small village are so kind and friendly and very helpful to me. the Great Wall is within walking distance and there are also many other beautiful sites to see in Huairou District.

Very friendly owners. Felt very welcomed and they helped by driving us to The Wall in the morning. The food was excellent. A perfect overnight village stay from where to explore the wall.

It was the perfect place to stay to see the Great Wall. The place was lovely, a little village above the moutain, and all the people were nice. The pancakes with honey for the breakfeast were amazing (in fact, all the food was amazing and healthy) !!
