Fantastic breakfast ..very helpful staff..location was great..clean rooms and staff restock every morning..
Wifi was poor or no connection in the basement rooms.
Taxis has difficult time finding hotel..but the hutong areas are difficult to navigate ..so I understand

Cute hotel tucked in an alley.. it was difficult to find at first. Cozy environment and breakfast was great.
My room smelled like smoke.. I am sensitive to cigarette smell so this made me cough and caused some headaches. Staff does not know much English so it isnt very tourist friendly to non Chinese speaking tourist. I appreciate their effort in trying to communicate though.

Wonderful
The location of Nostalgia Hotel is very central in a Hutong area near the Lama- and the Confucius Tempel. Also, it's only a few Metro stops away from Tianmen square. Very friendly and helpful staff. Eventhough their command of English is rather limited.
For cat lovers: there is a cat Cafe just on the other side of the road :-)!
I guess the glass toilet- and shower facility might not be to everbody's taste. But there is a curtain, which can be drawn, so one does have some privacy.
