The staff were fantastic
Its a little far from the main stretch but thats because we didnt know Beijing well, breakfast was fantastic. The area was a little rough at night and the floor wasnt hovered daily in our room.

I was there in a very unusual moment: in the middle of the Chinese new year holidays, but under severe travel restrictions because of the coronavirus pneumonia outbreak. That said, I can't rate the hotel like we usually do. There were almost no tourists around. Breakfast buffet had been suspended, for instance, in order to comply with the temporary, strict health regulations. On the other hand, the staff (all of them, including the manager) was extremely kind and helpful. They have provided us all support we needed to rearrange our trip and try to fly back home earlier than planned. I just have to thank every each staff member. Well... About the ordinary comments, I can just say that the room is comfortable, with efficient temperature control, very good light and sound insulation, excellent shower, comfy bed and soft pillows. Of course I will have to come back to Beijing someday, after all these stressful days have passed and the whole situation has been eased. Of course I will stay at this very same hotel when that day comes.

Specious room, nice decor in the lobby and restaurant, good aircon, nice china new year illuminations outside of the hotel, friendly stuff, decent food in the restaurant.
The swimming pool and the gym were closed, some members of the reception staff were not speaking English or speak very little, the staff wasn't able to help us with any matter not related to the hotel, i.e they couldn't tell us which tourists attractions are closed or partially closed due to the coronavirus, Temple of Heaven was open for example. 20 minutes walk to the nearest tube station than about 20 minutes by tube to the Qianmen station so not the perfect location for sightseeing.

The hotel is not starred but it is really luxurious and comfortable. The checking in is quite quickly. The room is spacious and quite with fancy facilities. It is not too far from Jiulongshan Metro Station.

The location was quite good, near a large mall and close to Jiulongshan subway station. Staff was attentive and made effort to remedy any problem encountered.
The bathroom was dirty and it seems that the upkeep of the room could use more attention. For the price of the room and the upscale branding, the room seemed a bit dated. Electrical sockets also had problems and the plug to the bathtub was faulty. We had to be moved to a different room because I honestly only booked the room to take a bath.

The smell of smoke was horrendous on the non smoking floor. The amount of broken tiles left hanging or secured with just tape. Glass shelving collapsed and we noticed there was no screws to even secure it.
