Wonderful
It was close to everything, the malls, the subway, and major attractions in the city. The food was superb and the rooms were spacious. Staff spoke good English so communication wasn't a problem. There was even a nightly entertainment at the lobby.

They allowed early check-in and gave us an upgrade. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast and comfortable bed (with different types of pillows to choose from). At a walkable distance to metro station and some shopping centres and food courts.
No swimming pool, spa or sauna available.

The views from my room and specialty the cleaning lady Du Quingrong. This lady not took care of my room during my stay but also greet me every morning with a warm smile and even gave me information about Beijing. She was always very polite, friendly and very professional. I hope more hotel managers encourage their employees to always put a smile on their faces when they talk to clients. It really makes your stay way more enjoyable. Thank you Du Quingrong for Beijing such a nice person ???

Pricey when compared to other cities in China, but hey, it's Beijing. And it's still super affordable when compared to western Europe.

We recently stayed at the Inner Mongolia Grand Hotel and were very pleased with our experience. The location is excellent — just a few steps from Dongdan Metro Station, making it extremely convenient for exploring the city. While the hotel description mentions that Wangfujing Avenue is a 15-minute drive away, we found it to be a comfortable 15-minute walk and went there on foot every day.
We booked a standard room, which was surprisingly spacious (30 m²) and very clean, with a lovely city view overlooking a park. The beds were comfortable, and all linens, towels, and bathrobes were fresh and spotless. The bathroom was also roomy and impeccably clean.
The hotel itself feels recently renovated, modern, and airy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. In my opinion, the hotel could easily pass for a five-star in terms of comfort and cleanliness.
One small downside: neither my husband nor I were able to connect to the hotel Wi-Fi, though our daughter had no issues. We didn’t ask the staff for help as we used mobile data instead, but I’m confident they would have assisted us if needed.

Great location, only a block from the metro station. Very clean hotel. Room was very large. They had singers every evening in Mongolian costume singing traditional Mongolian songs. Close to Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven by metro.

The property is a great location, very accessible and close to the Metro station. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and the staff was very helpful, professional and courteous. The breakfast buffet that was included with my stay was great, good variety of food both Chinese traditional and western cuisine. The view from my room window was great, I was facing north with a view of the metro station and the main interception and mall. I had a magnificent stay and recommend this hotel to anyone wanting good comfort and value.

There are 3 restaurants in the hotel.
Walk distance from the subway.
The location isn't so good if you like to stay very close to restaurants and shops. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel that help. If you need different options, you should walk 15 to 20 minutes to Wangfunjing street.

The hotel is in a strategic location near metro 1 and 5 and Wangfujing.
The room is spacious with a big window and comfy bed.
The bathroom is big as well, and the shower has a very good pressure and the water is immediately warm.
They provide a good amount of towels.
Everything was clean and they supplied water bottles every day.
Also breakfast is good and varied.
Unfortunately, there is a lingering smell of smoke in every part covered with carpets, in the room as well.
The staff doesn't understand and speak English well.

Central, clean, elegant, quiet, near a metro station. Probably, the best place to stay in Beijing. Diversified buffet breakfast, with western, and also local, choices. Large and clean room, spotless towels, large bathroom. Very nice experience for Beijing. Wi-fi, taxi service, concierge.
Apps recommendation for tourists: Alipay for payments (metro, food, merchants), Trip for booking entrance tickets, WeChat for conversations with guides or friends, VPN for using other apps or bank card confirmation, Translate / VoiceTranslate for communication.

it is a fancy looking place, spacious and comfortable. they provide some luxury but not close to the price they charge. i liked the room staff, very polite, kind and discreet. nice views too. location is ok. close to underground but you have to walk a bit to find any convenient store, cafe, etc. Last, wifi was good, reliable!
this is a hotel that used to be 'grand' but it is past its time. the building, furniture, walls etc are old. both my windows wouldnt close properly and this lead to be noisy during windy days. 2 out of the 5 nigths i spent there were very windy and i would wake up all the time during the night. i barely got some sleep.
i feel the value for money, for beijing, is quite poor

Big room, decent view, comfortable bed, pretty good shower.
Every evening it stunk of cigarette smoke filtering in from the other rooms, the air con was pretty poor, had to pay extra for a low-quality buffet breakfast, rude staff at breakfast, not a great location.
