The deposit for the stay isn’t taken by JEN Shangri La but by Zhong Guoji. I thought this was fraud, cancelled my credit card, etc. Turns out it was legitimate but very inconvenient!

the issue is most of foods serve in breakfast and dinner is with pork and lard, only limited items that consider as halal food. need to prepare the corned for halal food and need to mention it this is halal food to make the Muslim costumers feel comfortable to have breakfast and dinner in the hotel.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Beijing! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I booked all my hotels through Booking.com. I chose JEN Beijing by Shangri-La because it’s located in the CBD area, just about a 35-minute drive from the airport. The hotel is part of the fully integrated China World Complex, which includes premium malls, offices, and restaurants. One of the highlights of my stay was the airport pickup service organized by the hotel. This was especially important for a first-time visitor. As soon as I stepped off the plane, I was greeted by a dedicated airport butler (Kiki), who helped me get through all arrival formalities in just 15 minutes. She collected my luggage and escorted me directly to the limousine provided by the hotel. The arrival assistance, including help with completing the arrival card, was absolutely first-class. The hotel itself is very comfortable, and the front desk has English-speaking managers, which made communication easy. I had booked the room one day in advance, so I was able to check in immediately without waiting until the standard 2 PM check-in time. All the major attractions are within walking distance, and there's even direct access to China World Mall from the hotel, which is very convenient. The breakfasts were excellent and offered a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. There are also two great restaurants in the hotel. My room was beautiful, with a stunning view of the CCTV Headquarters (locally known as “the Pants” ?). There’s free Wi-Fi, an indoor swimming pool, a spa, and many other amenities that make you feel at home and not want to leave. A deposit was held on my card at check-in but was refunded within two days after my stay. I truly enjoyed everything and highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Beijing.

Love the modern and hip facilities of the hotel. Our room had an insane view of Beijing CBD! We had this staycation for my husband's birthday and the staff were truly thoughtful. They gave him a tiramisu birthday cake with a couple of beers from the hotel pub, Beersmith. Thank you! Housekeeping staff were really warm and friendly. Also, love the fact that the hotel was connected to China World Mall and had direct access to the mall, so we were able to explore it. Love the buffet breakfast and dinner with their wide variety of Asian and Western food choices. Thank you, Hotel Jen!
Had to check in by myself while my husband and daughter grabbed lunch at Beersmith (the pub located right beside the hotel lobby). The front desk staff asked to see my husband and daughter since they will be staying in the room with me. I told her that they were still finishing their lunch and will be right over when they're done. She still insisted that they have to come to the front desk right then and there because she needs to see them even if I already told her that they're still finishing their lunch and will be coming right over when they're done. I found it a bit rude and had to ask my husband to just have their lunch packed for take out and join me at the front desk. Other than that minor incident, we enjoyed our entire stay in the hotel.

EVERYTHING! The rooms were huge, well lit and well thought of. Great location connected to a mall with all the stores you can think of but also very near the cultural sites. They also had welcome fruits for us. The staff was amazing! Super helpful, even helped us order food online and used their own app because we had a hard time downloading their food delivery app. The breakfast was excellent too. Would say that this is easily one of my favorite hotels!
