Exceptional
Beautiful hotel in a unique hutong setting with charming traditional design, friendly staff, a good breakfast, and convenient access to the metro within a 10–15 minute walk.

We loved our stay here! The location in the hutongs was great and felt much more unique than staying in a standard hotel area. It was easy to walk around, explore the neighborhood, and get a feel for a different side of Beijing.
The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, and breakfast was delicious.
If you're looking for a place that feels a bit more local and memorable than a typical chain hotel, I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Very Good
Tranquility of the courtyard. we sat by the table outside our room to enjoy cool weather, flowers, birds chirping one afternoon after a tired day out. room size is decent and they use Laifen hairdryer! so much better for drying hair fast.
staff are friendly and eager to help.
Pillows are too flat. With such flat pillows, they should provide 2 pillows per guest like many other hotels. We asked for extras on the 2nd night as we had sore neck.

I truly enjoyed my one-night stay in Beijing at Hotel Cote Cour.
From the very first moments, I felt like a welcomed and expected guest. The staff greeted me with genuine warmth and helped me with every question with great care and attention.
My room was beautiful, with a private terrace and soft morning light filling the space through large windows — a perfect way to start the day.
The breakfast was excellent, with a choice between European and traditional Beijing style. Of course, I chose the Beijing breakfast, and it was abundant and delicious. In addition, there was a buffet with cereals, juices, and fresh fruit. Coffee is prepared in a machine, and tea is served from a wonderful selection at the bar.
I especially loved the inner courtyard of the hutong — with a small pond, koi fish, birds, elegant statues, and calming Chinese music. It is a truly peaceful place to begin or end the day in a meditative atmosphere. The magnolias in full bloom made it even more magical.
The hotel is full of beautiful details — a mix of antique and modern decor. There is also a cozy lounge with books and games, and a lovely rooftop terrace where you can relax or even work quietly.
Everything was clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained.
Another special bonus is the surrounding hutong neighborhood, where you can feel the spirit of historic Beijing simply by walking around.
A special thank you to Emily at the reception for her kindness, attention, and help with every detail.
Thank you as well for the delicious afternoon coffee and evening tea.
I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend this hotel

The staff at this hotel are truly what hospitality is about.
Everyone was so kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. They really go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and have everything you need.
I stayed 6 nights, and one day I wasn’t feeling well. They were incredibly caring—helping my husband get me soup and tea and checking in on me. That meant so much.
They also helped with everything during my stay—buying extra luggage, recommending places to eat, and helping with anything I needed. Nothing ever felt like too much to ask.
The hotel itself is beautiful, in a quiet and safe area, but still close to many attractions. Breakfast was also great—you choose it the day before and it was always delicious.
What really stood out to me is how they treat you—they make you feel like family, not just a guest. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, especially to someone I care about. It felt like staying with friends, not just visiting another country.

Love the quaint experience of living in a 四合院. The service from all staff was exceptional. The room was clean and spacious. We all love the handmade 馄饨 and could not help but ordered many bowls for supper every night.
Could be little difficult for cars to drive in due to the tight alley. To overcome the problem, we met our driver and dropped off at the main road 3 mins away.

Wonderful
The staff, food quality and location, close to the city center. You can go walking easily to the main attractions.
The narrow street where it is located is quite shocking the first time, due to the poor lights and the small houses at both sides, but the place is safe and you can go walking at any time.

Wonderful
It's a beautiful traditional style inn, in a courtyard complex. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we booked was very small, but it was comfortable and clean. It also had robes, a hot water bottle, a tea pot and two cups, which I really appreciate.
We arrived very late, and one of the staff offered us free drinks and snacks, which warmed our hearts after a long day in this chilly evening. The next day's breakfast was included, but forgettable. However, the afternoon tea was truly amazing. We chose to enjoy it next to this beautiful goldfish pond with water lilies, right in the middle of the courtyard, you see beauty everywhere you look far and near, up and down. It was out of this world. Love love love ? loved it so much.
The place is in the middle of a preserved area of hutong, so after breakfast we each picked up a bike and rode around this ancient neighborhood like going back a century in time
We'd pick a bigger room next time.

Wonderful
Room is very confortable, nicely decorated and spacious, the bed is huge and comfy.
We went there in November and after warming the room and the floor, we felt very warm.
The location is perfect for visiting.
Plenty of restaurants and convenient stores nearby
Because it’s a Hutong, the arrival may be tricky. You will need to take all maps and phone number for the taxi driver.
Hotel should add the name of the hotel in Chinese on the booking add.
You need to walk a bit to get a didi.

This is my 4th time staying in this hotel. The service is world class and every time is always beyond expectation! Staffs are very attention to details. They noticed that I love one local pastry bakery. Upon the check in, they surprised me with my favorite bakery! Also when I checkd out, they also rode a bicycle to buy me this bakery to bring to my mom in thailand. 这让我非常感动❤️ Thank you very much for your kindness.
Room is very clean, comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast is always delicious and big portions.
Location is perfect near the Forbidden City. I have already made a reservation for my stay next year! See you again soon.

Wonderful
The hotel is an oasis in the centre of the busy Beijing. It's tranquil and quiet with comfortable beds and a beautiful courtyard.
We were parents + two teenage daughters. The room was a good size for the 4 of us but make sure you ask for an extra bed. Master bed is an excellent size (I would guess180 cm), the other bed is too small for two people. The hotel organised an extra bed which was good size and comfortable.

Wonderful
Location. Staff was good - everyone was efficient. Mia was nice and is eager to help. Breakfast was very good. Music on our final night was very nice.
The hotel promises “free laundry” but they wouldn’t wash underwear or socks. Odd policy. Who cares if you have a clean shirt if your undergarments are dirty?
