The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is good in an special location in Beijing. The places to stay in the garden is very nice. The relation quality/price is good for the offer
There is not subway station around but the staff is ready to help for a taxi which is a problem for foreigners because to book a taxi you need to do it by smart phone in Chinese.

cool deco with art exhibition on site, great attention to detail. staff were exceptional, friendly, helpful and genuinely wanting you to enjoy the stay. Peking duck was the best I have ever had. and a lovely out door cafe.

- Quite original interior design - Friendly staff, I had a question before our stay and they responded very quickly - Very quiet - Super comfortable bed - Great large windows - Good curtains that don't let light in in the morning - Great location to explore 798
- When we just arrived, hot water in the bathroom wasn't very hot, but the hotel staff fixed the problem within 30 min - The restaurant downstairs is expensive, but there are many places to eat in 798 area

I loved this place. They just went beyond your average good boutique hotel making everything a bit extra special without even trying. Bed was fantastic & room was lovely with high ceilings, big windows, great bathtub, the soap, the details are taken care of. All the staff were super nice (xie xie Peter for the upgrade) & the restaurant had superb local food with nice atmosphere. The location is excellent if you need to go to the exhibition centre, or downtown equally as long as you hit the right times. Its kind of in between both, -very fast travel at night. Or just hang around 798 the local art district.. Perfect place, i would stay here every time.
Bar was a bit of of a missed opportunity, with the clientele coming to the restaurant, i could easily imagine this being a cool late speak easy, turn down the lights etc. As it closed at 9..

We arrived at 3am in the night after a Long flight and there was construction work from an art event, but the reception changed and basically upgraded our room without any hassle, so we could stay further away from the noise. Also, we missed official breakfast hours owing to our sleep deficit but the restaurant still prepared something for us. Very kind and considerate!

- The breakfast is quite good, some local food to boot. - The rooms are beautiful. - Since they are a hidden gem, you won't see them anywhere near full capacity ( 30 rooms ). This means you may get a free upgrade, like I did which was quite amazing. - The staff is very friendly, helpful and nice. - Close to small shops and personal boutiques.
- Location is an industrial area. The surrounding area is not the nicest ( in terms of look, I felt very comfortable and safe, even at night ). You may have to deal with some construction sounds depending on where your room is. - The housekeeping team / staff was super friendly and nice but most of them do not speak any english / other languages aside from Mandarin so it can be a little challenging getting help if you are not a local / staying with a friend that does.

I liked the aesthetic and location. The bed was also very comfortable. Turndown service and fruit the first night was nice, but Im not sure why it wasnt given the second night.
The address I printed from the website was not correct. The phone number I printed from the website wouldnt connect. My cab driver has a very difficult time finding the hotel. I had requested directions to the hotel when I made my reservations but didnt get a response until after I landed in Beijing, at which point my Gmail didnt work. Additionally, I had a nespresso in my room but no pods, the pods they provided were too big for the machine, there was no room service for breakfast, no bartender at the bar, the shower curtain looked dirty, there was mold around the tub, and not hair dryer.

Very cool retro design and large bedrooms and bathrooms, with beautiful wood floors in the hallways. The service was excellent and aimed to please, with everyone I dealt with having a better then expected understanding of English.
A little bit off the beaten track with no subway close by and limited restaurants in the area compared to downtown options. Need to work on the breakfast, it was not setup at 7 AM start and a little limited in terms of the selection. Coffee was awesome!
