The breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was very close to several metro lines and the area was very safe.
The thermostat in the room didn’t work, we had to keep the window open

very nice quality great breakfast and lunch food , room service good but limited menu , no drinks or western food at all
people did not speak english. even basic english at the front desk and did not understand a request regarding the great wall of china or for water. Restaurant music was same then played over and over again for hours about to drive anyone mad. Also staff standing around waiting to take plates away was stressful would have been better use of their time to offer to get more coffee or top up drinks as in other hotels

The Beijing International Hotel is perfectly situated. It is walking distance to Tiannamen Square and Forbidden City, to Wangfu Xing (the main shopping street) and Oriental Plaza in the west, and also to Silk Market in the East of the hotel.
From our rooms we had a great view directly to Chan An, Henderson Centre and the Train Station South.
The breakfast buffet is very rich and has a good selection for bith: Chinese and western.
The personal barely speaks English. This is a big surprise for such a good hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel with very good service and a very reasonable price. The food is excellent te, especially the breakfast buffet which has an amazing variety of options.
Only drawback is that few staff members speak English well - mandarin speakers will be fine, but they do try hard in English also. No real problem with this.

The star level for this hotel should be 3 stars. The bathroom is outdated and there's mildew between the title wall, the bathtub has black stains all over. Over all very disappointed!

Business rooms were much better than standard rooms, newly renovated and nice. Standard rooms were more like a 3star hotel. This hotel has an ideal location for Silk Market shopping, Forbidden City, Tiannamen, Wangfujing Street, within walking distance.
Standard rooms were in need of renovations. Not a 4-5 star rated hotel.

the airconditioning system. actuallty it does not have cool air coming out when expected. so i end up have to open the windows to let the fresh cool air in. thats the only thing im not satisfied with.
