The location was quite convenient and the hotel is old style Chinese. The room was very small, so fine for shower and sleep but not enough space for much else. The room was clean and neat. Bed was confortable.
I could hear anything happening outside my room. Fortunately the other guests were quiet. They made a pending charge to my cc, and until now it still shows even thought I paid from my AliPay account. Im guessing itll be removed, but something Ill watch, which creates post visit anxiety. They did a bag check which Ive not had at any other hotel in china, so pretty weird.

Fantastic location in the heart of Beijing. 5 minutes walking distance to TianAnMen square. Lovely small street restaurants next to it and also QianMen Avenue with lots of super interesting shops. The hotel is located in a classical Beijing Hutong neighborhood. Very beautiful surrounding. Friendly staff which tries to communicate even though language barrier. You can keep your luggage with them after check out.
Room is ok in its size but the bathroom is really a challenge. Basically you cannot move much around inside. Thet being said its good enough to do what you have to do. Shower itself is clean and alright.

Central location, and the staff was really helpful.
The bathroom is very small in size, it worked for me since I'm a small person but if you're not then is tough.

Great central location in an older hotel with a lot of atmosphere. Don't expect modern amenities, book it for the charm. Bathroom with shower was very clean. Staff were helpful but English was limited.

Great location. Close to subway and City bus. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Very close to Tian an men Square. Friendly and helpful recepection staffs. Cleaning staffs did their best to keep the place neat and clean. Mr. Hwan has a kind heart and he is a very polite person, always helps all customers with a smile. Ms. Ashley speaks English, was a great help to get good advice and clear idea about how to find location and other things of interest. She made reservations for us to visit Tian an men Square, Summer palace, National Museam. She also helped my wife to purchase many things from online websites using her own account and took delivery on our behalf.
There was no freezer in the room. No elevator, you have to take stairs. Hotel accepts credit/debit card and local currency but foreign currency not accepted.

This place is really close to Qimen St and the station.
- Upon checking in, I have advised that I would like to pay with local currency but instead was charged with the incorrect currency (even though I've mentioned it so many times). - We had to change rooms during our stay (as they have apparently given us an upgrade). However, this was very inconvenient for us (to repack and pack again and again). - Breakfast was horrible and tasteless. Do not pay for breakfast! - Room was so small even for the price we paid.

Good location in Qianmen hutong, close to Temple of Heaven, Forbidden City and metro station. Interesting building of old bank. We were given a room even earlier than discusses, which was good after a night flight to China. Note: for people loving "local taste"

When we first checked into the hotel, the reception took a deposit of 200 yuan from us. We however had a problem with the hotel during our stay and when we checked out, we did not receive the 200 yuan deposit back. We tried to contact them multiple times and even provided our credit card to which they had promised to return the 200 yuan, but we still never received this payment. Could you please chase this issue up for us on our behalf?
