Location is good (we selected the hotel by location near the place of our business-meetings).
The staff doesn't speak english, they are using a phone with google-translate. It results in difficulties during resolving any problems: when you need the receit for your accountant, when you need a taxi, etc.. Wifi login is via sms (you need to receive a code). Couldn't receive the code to non-chinese number.

Pleasant
Clean, comfy beds. Hepingxiqiao subway station, many local restaurants, McDonald's and KFC nearby.
Rooms were so hot (28 degC) and no temperature control. Had to keep windows open at -5 degC outside. No one could speak even simple English, so communication was a nightmare.

Very Good
Even though many of the staff doesn't speak much English, they are very helpful and try to communicate via translation apps or fetch someone in the staff that speaks English.

Wonderful
Cleanliness was great, the housekeeping would be done twice in a day (i.e. morning and late afternoon). The room size was huge, especially the shower. To my surprise, there was no smoking smell in the aircon system that was reviewed as a problem by other travellers. I was probably lucky i guess... and I got a room on a relatively quiet level (i.e. 8th floor). Per pax, two bottles of mineral water would be given daily, therefore there was no need to buy water. The hotel is located within 300m walk from the nearest mrt station (Line 5: Hepingxiqiao, exit B) so it was really convenient and there is a bakery there too in case you need breakfast. The staff were really helpful in receiving my online purchases.
The staff do not know english, so it can be tough trying to communicate with them if you do not know a single mandarin. The facilities (i.e. supermarket) were limited, could not find a supermarket nearby and no shopping centres. Although the mrt station is near, however, to get there you would have to cross this dangerous road which is the intersection of several roads which requires you to wait an estimated of 5mins for the light to turn green each time. Please be careful while crossing because even if green, the vehicles/bicycles, would not really stop for you.

Great value for a 4-star hotel. Convinent location next to a subway station. Very helpful and friendly staffs. Very big room with king size bed.
