Simply put, everything about this visit was superb! The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall is incredibly well preserved and accessible for most people. With that in mind, my observation is that you can either take a tour bus straight here or you can stay somewhere closer, within walking distance. After this visit at the Let's Go Hotel & Bar, I recommend the latter! Mr. Yang and Lily are the most hospitable hosts you could ask for. This accommodations are top notch - modern while also feeling very homey. In fact, I wish I could call this my home! We were immediately greeted once we arrived via Didi. Lily helped us book tickets into the Great Wall via the open cable cars. It was a seamless process. The next day, she would also help us get tickets for the closed cable cars that take you to a different section. Mr. Yang drove us there on both occassions. Once we got back, we were greeted by traditional Chinese snacks as we warmed up followed shortly by dinner. They offer a wide selection of options, from Western to tradiitonal Chinese and even a make your a own pizza experience - regardless of what you choose, you can't go wrong! In terms fo the room, we stayed in Room 7. It was great. Plenty of outlets to recharge you devices and plenty of spaces. My personal favorite aspect of the room were the heated floors. We came in January while it was snowing. The heated floors were an absolute lifesaver. On the second day, we were awoken to the smell of delicious homemade bread and a great Western-style breakfast. Once we got back from our second trek through the Great Wall, we were also got lunch before leaving - homemade shrimp, pork, and beef dumplings, all delectable. Overall, our trip to the Great Wall would not be what it was without our stay at Let's Go Hotel & Bar and the great hosts, Mr. Yang and Lily

Hosts were so kind and friendly! The host husband picked us up from the airport and drove us to the hotel for a reasonable rate. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Breakfast was delicious and filling for our trek at the great wall. Our hosts purchased our tickets for us and we paid them back. The hosts were generous about the checkout process as well and we got a ride to Beijing for a reasonable rate as well. Highly recommend staying here! Thank you so much, we appreciated our stay.

It was one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed! Lily and her husband made our stay a wonderful experience! They served delicious homemade food, great coffee and we had a very clean, comfortable room! the great wall is reachable 10 minutes by foot! What a wonderful stay!!

Very nice and friendly owners. Both speak English. They helped us with the ticket to the Great Wall of China. The room was nice, clean, but the whole house is nicely decorated. We felt like we were visiting family.
The dinner the owner prepared for us was the best we had during our trip to China.

Oh boy! Everything! Way more than what i expected and they accommodated my every need. I came in late. They were waiting at the desk for me. They promptly checked me in and their daughter took me straight to my room. Absolutely beautiful updated interior. Comfortable pillows and blanket. Wonderful rooftop terrace. Breakfast in the morning and they made it when i was ready to eat. They have a little coffee shop with an espresso machine. Check out was at noon but they let me keep my bag in the room while i hiked the Great Wall. Very convenient location. 10min walk to the base of the wall. After hiking i came back and ordered lunch, lamb kebabs and rice. Then they helped me get a Didi to take me to the airport. I wish i could have stayed longer! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

This was one of the most pleasant stays I’ve had in a while. Lily, Yang, and their kids were exceptionally kind and considerate. Always attentive and helped in any way possible. Advised us on times and routes for the Great Wall. Being 10 min walk away with an amazing view from their rooftop was well worth the stay. The food they cook was always top notch.

Incredible hosts, friendly and helpful with planning. Fantastic food, coffee, and drinks. Spacious room with comfortable bed, very nice bathroom with towels and a hot shower. Facilities of the hotel have a modern aesthetic, comfortable and extremely clean and well organized. Also…the hotel is so close to the Mutianyu Great Wall entrance, I walked to the Great Wall park every day with my son, no other transportation is needed.

The owners are very attentive, and the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the Great Wall. Everything looks new and modern—it’s actually the perfect place to stay if you want to be close to the Great Wall.

The owners were the kindest and made us feel right at home, you can tell they made everyone’s stay very personable and were passionate about making everyone’s experience amazing. The food was delicious and they were so accommodating for us as we had to check out very early to catch an early train and they still made us breakfast. It is less than a 10 minute walk from the Great Wall, and one of the owners booked us discounted tickets to get the cable car up and toboggan down. The bar was fully stocked and we had a bottle of wine while watching the sunset with a view of the Great Wall. It is a 2 hour drive from Beijing, which we caught a Didi for about 250-300 yuan.
The bathroom kind of flooded as it is just a drain in the floor, and the water didn’t drain quick enough. The shower got boiling hot—I’ve never seen a shower get that hot before! It was really nice just not expected, so for a hot shower the faucet was actually on the cold side! They also only offer cow’s milk, no alternative milks, so no dairy-free coffee options except for an espresso shot.

Stayed 1 night at Let's Go Hotel during our visit to Mutianyu Great Wall. Mr Yang picked us up from our hotel in Beijing & brought us to the Ming Tombs then lunch at a local noodle shop before going back to the accommodation.
The rooms & toilets were super clean & comfortable. Although our room is facing the main road, we hardly hear anything & had a very good night sleep.
Ordered dinner at the accommodation & all the dishes we have ordered were very delicious. Although we told Lily we don't eat a lot, the portion served was still huge! :)
Breakfast was simple but tasty. After breakfast, Mr Yang offered to drive us to the cable car station, although it's only a short 8-min walk. As we were there early, there's hardly anybody at the walls & it's so peaceful & nice until the crowd starts coming in abt 10.30am
My family had a really good stay at Let's Go Hotel & will definitely recommend friends to stay here if they are visiting Mutianyu Great Wall.

We loved everything about our stay - location, cleanliness & Lily was outstanding. She helped us with booking tickets and organising a taxi from the airport and didi ride to the airport. Its a short walk to the wall, so we were able to be up there at opening 7.30am before all the hoards of buses start arriving and it gets super busy. It made for a much more enjoyable experience visiting the wall. We were really impressed with our stay here.

Perfect. Brilliant. Superb!
Lilly and Yang are the perfect hosts. They have a lovely place within a short walk of the wall entrance. They helped us organise a taxi to and from Beijing, they cooked us wonderful food, they helped us organise the wall tickets and even dropped us off there. Their place is modern, quiet and a peaceful. Book it before someone else does!

If you want to stay in this village (probably because you want to visit the Great Wall) this is the place to be. Tasteful interior, large, bright and quiet rooms (Deluxe category we stayed in) with a comfy bed. Very good food for dinner and breakfast. It is only a 5min walk to the Great Wall cable car. The hosts arranged our tickets for a 8 a.m. start which is highly recommended to avoid the massive crowds a few hours later. The genuine hospitality of the family running the place makes the difference.
