Wonderful
Staff was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. Whenever we came back to the accommodation, they will always ask if we need some tea refreshments (before 10pm), or if we don't, some warm milk for us to sleep better. Highly recommend this place for the personalised service which cannot be found in huge hotel chains. Location is also convenient. Will definitely come back if we travel to Beijing the next time.

The hotel is located in a Hutong area, small streets/houses. The hotel has big, red, entrance doors and as soon as you enter, the beautiful Chinese style surrounds you. The team is very helpful and if they don’t understand, the translate app is put to good use! Afternoon tea was my favorite. Awesome snacks and delicious tea!

We stayed here for two nights in December and had a wonderful experience. The location is very convenient, and the courtyard-style architecture is elegantly designed. The room was spotless clean and equipped with modern smart appliances.
The food was excellent—breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks were all delicious and beautifully prepared. What truly stood out was the staff, especially Ms. Zheng, who provided great local information and warm, attentive help. To our children, the staff felt almost magical - always ready to answer questions and surprise them with lovely treats they were craving.
We booked this hotel based on numerous raving reviews, and it more than lived up to them. We can’t wait to return in a warmer season to enjoy the roof deck.

It is a wonderful through back to a historic courtyard home. It has character. Excellent room and very helpful staff, English not great but sufficient. The tea they offered was so abundant had I known I would have skipped diner. Nice breakfast,t but Chinese style don't expect western fare. While the place is historic, the rooms are high-tech. Toilet heat with a remote to open. All controlled by an AI assistant (who does not understand enclishe. Lovely roof deck.

The Cozy Stay at the heart of Beijing is located in a charming alley on Dongsi South Street, surrounded by lovely restaurants. It's just a 5-10 minute walk to Wangfujing and a 10-20 minute stroll to the Forbidden City, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful cityscape.
The design and decoration of the accommodations are exceptional. We had a very peaceful stay, as the hotel has a limited number of rooms, which provided us with comfort and privacy. The room size was perfect for our family, which includes two adults and a small child.
Although the property is a renovated older building, all the facilities are new and fully functional, featuring a nice, modern interior. The property also offers a delightful traditional breakfast and a beautiful afternoon tea set—definitely a highlight of our stay! We typically requested the tea set at the end of the day after a long walk, and it was a wonderful way to unwind.
Lastly, I want to commend the staff for their excellent service; they were always attentive and brought us joy without us needing to ask.
Tips: Be sure to check out the nearby coffee shop, Viewpoint Coffee—it’s really nice! We also highly recommend a restaurant called Beijing Pie, which is close to the hotel.
One thing to note is that while room space may be limited for larger luggage, we managed just fine with our medium-sized and smaller bags.

The property is a beautiful oasis in Beijing, but the best part is the kindness of the staff. We were greeted with tea and an array treats upon arrival, warm milk before bed, and more tea at departure, all in addition to a wonderful breakfast. The room was stunning and a thoughtful blend of traditional architecture and modern amenities. Don’t miss the rooftop glass teahouse.
Everything was perfect

This is a perfect place to stay in Beijing to experience courtyard home stays. We were impressed with the attention to detail. Our room came with a little private courtyard and fish pond with bench seats along the corridor. The staff were amazing. Everyone was attentive to every need. We felt pampered by a great breakfast, afternoon tea, evening snacks, and even warm milk sent for the kids. The exterior and courtyards evoke old Beijing, and the interiors are world class modern, even with an automated toilet. The location is central and close to two subway stations that took us everywhere in Beijing. We highly recommend this place, and we'll definitely stay here again next time we visit.

We had a truly pleasant stay at this beautiful Siheyuan in Beijing. The hotel itself is charming, with traditional Chinese decor that adds so much character and cultural depth to the experience. It offers a peaceful and authentic atmosphere, perfect for anyone looking to experience a more traditional side of Beijing.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—always ready to help with a smile. One standout feature was the free laundry service and the availability of food and beverages 24/7, which made our stay especially convenient.
The food was fantastic! The zha jiang mian was absolutely delicious and breakfast offered a wide variety of tasty local dishes. It was a real treat to wake up to such an authentic spread each morning.
They also had some lovely activities for kids, such as making cotton candy and feeding fish, which kept the little ones entertained and happy.

Excellent hotel! The staff are great hosts, very friendly. Make you feel at home. The location is convenient, very central, tucked down a hutong neighborhood not far from the Forbidden City. Quiet with beautiful historic charm, but also with comfortable modern amenities in the rooms. They provide a beautiful tea service that is an experience not to be missed! Would love to stay here again!

The staff was SO friendly, and the hotel is full is little details that complete your stay. You get afternoon tea, delicious breakfast, and little goodbye gift...the room was large and comfortable, modern and refurbished, in such a lovely hutong and also not in a touristic hutong area! We loved everything about our stay.
Nothing to comment!
