Very Good
excellent location in historic downtown, VERY friendly and helpful staff. Room size normal, bathroom also big enough. It would also have been quiet, had it not been the seagull nesting season. I booked an astronomy tour, they can pick you up here or you can walk to the office. Also the beach is not too far (30 minutes on foot).
noisy seagulls (las gavietas) :) But again, it's not the hotel's fault.

Wonderful
The staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and the beds were confortable. I liked a lot the water pressure from the shower.
There are no elevators, so if you are coming with a very heavy luggage, be prepared to go up on staircases.

The billed room for 4 adult male travelers was not suitable, when I raised this issue with the duty manager, he became very aggressive and offered me another single room at no cost, however he called the administrator/owner of the property and when he arrived, he was equally aggressive and offered the extra room but with an added cost a 19% to the final fee. The breakfast had a very poor selection of rolls with cheese or ham and several pastries.

Location.
Not an accesible location for people with disabilities or mobility impaired. There are 3 flight of stairs from the entrance on the street to the main floor where the rooms are at. Also, for some reason you can't leave the hotel with your room key. They demand that you leave it with them everytime you leave the hotel, which I personally don't like due to safety reasons. And you have to ring a doorbell at street level to get in the hotel, which for me, was terrible because they are clearly understaffed, and at times I was left outside ringing the doorbell for over 10 minutes before someone buzzed me in.

Great location in the middle of downtown. At night, it’s a fairly quiet area. Decent breakfast (poor hours 8-10am) but little variety from day to day. Helpful front desk!
Room was showing a lot of wear and tear, you hear everything from adjacent rooms. My bed had a real lean and I had to ask for clean sheets when I arrived as they had a lot of hair on them. Gross stained mattress cover! Breakfast had no variety for my 5 nights.
