The place is super beautiful and peaceful. The staff is gentle and friendly.
The breakfast was mediocre, with no fresh bread, for instance. Sometimes, the staff was not easy to find.

Nice setting within the hotel.
Dogs from the lodge followed us out and around la serena, causing much distress for us. They were eventually attacked by other dogs and fled but we were right next to the fight, not cool. There are also many stray dogs on the way to the hostel, some quite aggressive.
We also didn't have any hot water the entire time and there was often no staff to be found to attend to needs.

When I read the reviews and looked at the pictures provided by the hotel it's self I was very excited about my experience at an eco lodge as it looked like the type of experience that would stand out from the rest of the other properties around.
The lodge sounded and looked welcoming with lots of big open spaces while providing a room with lots of light and clean, as for us the most important thing was to ensure we were staying in a clean room.
The online communication had been very pleasant and efficient which led us to believe this would be the case once we arrived.
Unfortunately, none of our expectations were met.
From check in, we immediately noticed the staff were inattentive and not particularly friendly nor informative.
Rooms were damp and dark, unlike shown in pictures with lots of light.
Breakfast options were very limited and not very fresh.
Place was hard to find and not very easy to get to and from town centre as the area around is also a bit unsafe.
It is a shame as the accommodation has a great potential to be a great gateway with lots of green spaces, however it almost feels like the staff don't want you there.

The area and the bungalows are really beautiful, cosy and green. It’s close to the beach.
The neighbourhood is really dark at night and there are no streets. I would not recommend as as female traveler. And one night I came home at 8 pm, and as soon as I opened the gate, the two dogs from the hostel were running and barking aggressively at me, which was really really scary. The worst part was then, that nobody from the reception or the hostel was there to help or even talk to.

Really nice quiet place, 15 min walk from the beach and some restaurants. Delicious breakfast can be taken on the terrace. Beautiful garden to relax in the hammock.
Good instructions to check-in late
Bikes are not to be used anymore, so booking shouldn’t advertise them

Lovely gardens and great cabin with privacy and outdoor furniture. Comfy beds. Fairly decent breakfast considering the price you pay. Sweet dogs!
Roads from bus station all the way to entrance are dirt roads and feel pretty unsafe. Feels a bit like you’re in an industrial park all the way there (though once on the property it is lovely). Not really that close to anything. Main supermarket is the other side of a huge dual carriageway.
This is also NOT an ‘eco’ accommodation: there are no recycling facilities at all, POLYSTYRENE cups in the kitchen and feather duvets. Feels like they’ve called themselves ‘eco’ just to get tourists in.

Breakfast was delicious, well located at 15 minutes from bus station and 10 minutes from the beach. The isolated location was a relaxing experience.
Room needed more cleaning, as the surroundings hosts lots of insects and spiders that crawled into the room.

A lovely garden with privacy and great cabins that had everything you needed. There was a heater, extra blankets and WiFi as well as cooker, fridge, kettle toaster etc.
You need a car to stay here. We came by bus and we had to do a lot of walking. This was fine except at night when we had to walk through some sketchy areas (2 women alone) in the dark. You can no longer borrow bikes.
