Bedrooms Need ‘blackout’ or dark curtains as our bedroom window got the night lights from the rear of the restaurant buildings. Can hear them doing the dishes. We put a blanket up to stop the light at night

Very nice location, very helpful staff and comfortable bed.
The floor was a little bit sticky inside, walking in white socks resulted in them turning brown quickly.

It's located RIGHT ON the main street next to the ocean. No walk whatsoever is required! There are plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance. THIS is my new "best secret" place to stay in La Serena. It was trip FIFTEEN !!!

The hotel was located 2 min walk from the beach. It was located not directly at the street, which helped a bit with the noise reduction. There were nice restaurants close by and this part of the beach was not too busy.

The location was amazing, the apartment was very comfortable and surrounded with amazing green environment. Staff was also very nice.
I received a 10% extra charge for VAT purposes, despite I do not live in Chile and I paid with a credit card issued in Spain (and in euros). The staff told me the only possibility for being exempted from VAT is to bring USD (cash), and that she issues a export invoice, but this shouldn't be like that, because I also paid with a foreign card and I can demonstrate I live abroad.

Location, security, heaters, landscaping, housekeeping, friendly service - Javiara and Willia thank you so much!!! These lovely staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome… they are the reason I would be happy to return… wonderful people. A bank machine is only a ten minute walk north.
Understandably, rental units probably have set maintenance overhaul dates and this means that some guests will experience more wear and tear than others. There was a guest that moved into our unit only hours after we left for example. The interior walls were in of touchup paint in some areas and the floor tended to get clammy depending on the humidity. The main change I would recommend is to adjust the shower head so that it pointed forward and to plunger the shower drain so that it did not fill up like a bathtub… it is not a romantic feeling on the feet. Don’t forget your outlet adaptor if you are travelling from North America and take afternoon rush hour into consideration of your transportation plans.

The clean layout of the flat. The bed was good too. The location excellent.
The floor was very humid and smelly, as if the mopping was dirty. The towels were improperly dull with nasty stains.

The overall stay was great - the location is across from the beach (though there is no ocean view, there is a strip mall directly in front of the property which blocks the beach view). I can imagine for families it is a fantastic place for peace of mind - there is a green space in the middle of all the cabañas and a pool (it was under maintenance when we went however it was also winter so we didn't miss it). In the strip mall there are lots of places to eat, as well as many other restaurants nearby. The hotel staff was super nice and accommodating - check-in took a bit longer than expected but everything worked out in the end! We went in off season, so can't comment on how noisy it would be at full capacity, but for us it was pretty quiet.
Our fridge wasn't working, which we only discovered after having stored things in it. We weren't planning on cooking as t was a short trip, so it wasn't that big of a deal but definitely check to make sure yours works! Also our shower curtain fell down the first night but they fixed it the next day.

The location would be easier to find if the number of the exit off highway no.5 were mentioned in the directions, not just the name of the street. Also the location of the accommodation is quite a distance from La Serena.
