Superr location, excellent reception. The cofffe shop has fresh bean espresso and makes venezuelan arepas to die for. If you travel through Iquique this is a must stay place

- location close to beach and little cheap restaurants
- staff all friendly
- beautiful view from roof terrace
- breakfast option next door
- pool and beanbags to relax
- spacious kitchen with leftover box from other travelers
- my bunk bed did not have a ledder and I had to jump mu way up
- no charging options for upper beds
- no curtains on beds
- only two showers for woman and one of them you can’t close
- only one toilet and a tiny sink in woman bathroom
- near to no cuttlery or bowls to use in kitchen
- fridge smelled quite bad

Great location between the old town area and downtown. One block from the beach with ocean views from the upper terrace. Good sized dorms, hot water shower, spacious kitchen, good common area, friendly staff, cafe on site with a discount offered to hostel guests.
The only 2 faults I have are that the wifi didn’t reach up to 3rd floor rooms, and in the 3rd floor 6 person dorm 2 of the lockers are inaccessible as a set of bunk beds is blocking them.

Very close to the beach - super! But a bit a walk to the city center. Good service, there is a cafe as well for breakfast. Nice area outside.
Toilettes and showers could be cleaner.

A very nice place to stay, close to the beach and a very laid back atmosphere.
The room was noicy. For some reason people were repairing a car on the street in the middle of the night!

It was a good or great atmosphere. Billiard/pool table, cafe and a nice outdoors area. One night there was a big barbecue free for everyone. Equipped shared kitchen. The staff were good, helpful, friendly.
It was a bit rough. I moved rooms for my second night as my first room did not resemble anything in the pictures. Something weird was going on with the electricity: the jug took for ever to boil and constant power cuts to different parts of the place. Oh, the shower: Every 2 or 3 minutes it would go cold for a minute. What's with that? Made it both unpleasant and made it take for ever.

The house of the hostel is beautiful. It seems like its best days are over (unless someone renovates it..) but you can tell it used to be a really nice house. If you want to be close to the beach the location is perfect, otherwise quite far to Baquedano and the city centre.
The room we stayed in (double room, upstairs) was fine (although it was the third one that we got showed as the first one didn’t have electricity and the second one was without a window) and the bed comfortable.
Well..it’s a 7on booking so if you prepare for a 7 then you won’t be disappointed. Just don’t expect more.
Cleaning standard is low, smelling bad (fish smell all over), some people at the reception friendlier/more helpful than others and the vibe of the hostel for sure not as lively as it used to be (maybe due to covid?).
Anyway the place served its purpose for our stay in Iquique but just don’t expect too much of it.
