The location was stellar, and the place was beautiful! It was super clean, very spacious, and truly felt like a little home away from home while I was in Zurich.
You’re right in the center of it all, with restaurants, ice cream shops, and cafes just steps from the front door, plus a quick walk to the boardwalk along the water. You really couldn’t beat the location!
The area felt very safe and was surprisingly quiet for being so central. Everyone in the building was respectful of one another, too.
The host was also incredibly responsive and kind. I’d highly recommend staying here and would absolutely come back the next time I’m in Zurich!
There was nothing I didn't like. Highly recommend!

Located right in the heart of Zurich near the river, the location is unbeatable with tons of restaurants and shops right downstairs.
The management company is exceptionally professional, friendly, helpful, and responsive—hands down the best host experience I’ve ever had.
The bathroom provided high-quality towels and toiletries. Although I didn’t use the washing machine, I noticed they even provided laundry detergent, which is a rare and thoughtful touch I’ve never seen at other stays (hosts usually don't provide it, almost as if they discourage guests from using the machine). This small gesture showed a remarkably high level of hospitality. The bedsheets, pillows, and comforter were also very clean and of great quality.
There is no central air conditioning—only a portable AC unit. While the machine itself is not too noisy, keeping the window open for the exhaust hose lets in street noise from the restaurants below. To sleep quietly, we had to turn off the AC and close the windows before bed. The soundproofing is average, so you can still hear some noise from the restaurants outside. It was a bit noisy, but not a dealbreaker.

Too loud, you could not close the windows because of the installed AC, so you would hear everything from the very central old town street with many loud tourists. Besides the operation of AC was also very loud that I could not sleep at all

A very comfortable apartment in a good location. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Supermarket is 10 minutes walk. Keypad entry (no worrying about keys). Close to main sights of Zurich. Fully functional kitchen.
First floor near a bar means some noise in the evenings. Lots of work on roads and infrastructure in the area is a bit noisy during the day, but this should be temporary.

I cannot pinpoint why I enjoyed my stay at Zürich Niederdorf – Grossmünster so much since everything was just right. Whereas the apartment was compact, which was fine with me, it was also modern, tasteful and functional. I appreciated that the washer was in the unit. The building was impeccable and access was with keypads so no fuss with lockboxes and keys. I found the location ideal. A main street is one block away but the building is perfectly located in the pedestrian oriented old town.
What did standout about my stay was the exceptional concierge-level guest service James provided. Without going into the specifics, the professionalism and helpfulness of James and his team is a lasting fond memory.

Very loud people at the bar that is just out side the windows of the apartment. The people noise was every night until late.
