Exceptional, friendly and helpful staff. Every single staff member went the extra mile. Our room was beautiful, spacious and very clean. We ate in the Swiss restaurant and the food was delicious, with many choices. Again, the service was attentive and very special. The hotel is well located - an easy walk to the main train station and the old town and the lake area.
There was a little bit of traffic noise, but this is to be expected in a central hotel in a busy city.

The location was good.
It’s a Marriot, so we had high expectations. First there was a stain on the sheet, the shower door was cracked and broken, and it leaked. The window also seemed to be leaking water. When we asked the front desk for a new set of sheets, for some reason housekeeping removed all of our towels?! Even though they were hanging up (which means we will re use them). Also, the used plastic coffee pods for their nespresso machines…which left the coffee with a plastic tasting tinge. I guess the most disappointing part was how thin the walls were. We could hear people on either side of us as well as the people upstairs.
