Room was spacious. The blend of old with modern. They did have fans in the room as it was built seasonably hot. Esteban at front desk was great - he knew we were coming in early and he was able to save the room so that we could check in after our long international flight. He also recommended the Zürich city tour and it was fantastic. Quiet. Close to train station which is what we wanted.

Beautiful hotel located right beside Zurich train station. Really cozy hotel with old style/antique furniture - I loved the vibe of this hotel. Room was perfect no complaints, the toiletry selection was great and the fan actually kept the room cool. Also dealt with a really lovely receptionist, my boyfriend left his retainer behind and the lovely receptionist lady found it for us and helped get it shipped back. Will definitely come back here if staying in Zurich again!

Great location in Zurich right near the train station. Good casual food from the restuarant downstairs. Thankful they provided a portable air con unit in our room as was 36 degrees outside. We had a double room which was very roomy and commfortable

The person who checked us in could not have been more helpful. He was excellent. He was able to get us in early, gave us clear directions with a map of the area, and helped us with information about the train to Zurich airport. Location was perfect for little cafes, the river and the train station. We had a few drinks on their outdoor cafe area. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

The location, room size and cleaning service
For the price I would have expected air conditioning. The heat at night made for an uncomfortable stay. Reception was largely un attended. There are better places for a similar price in the vicinity.

Construction started very early AM right out window , and window has to be open since no AC. Could have used more rest.
