Our stay at Hotel Europe was nothing short of exceptional, and it made our 29th wedding anniversary trip truly unforgettable.
From the moment we arrived, the staff treated my wife and me with such genuine warmth and care that it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed as honored guests. Their thoughtful attention to detail added a special sparkle to our celebration that we’ll always remember.
Our room on the 5th floor was a highlight in itself. It was impeccably clean, wonderfully comfortable, and equipped with excellent amenities that made relaxing effortless. Each morning, we were greeted with a beautiful view that felt like a postcard come to life, the kind that makes you pause for a moment before starting your day.
Speaking of mornings, the breakfast at the hotel is absolutely worth every penny. It’s a delightful spread that manages to feel both indulgent and refined, setting the perfect tone for a day of exploring Zurich.
And explore we did. The hotel’s location made it incredibly easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go, turning the city into our own open-air adventure. No complicated transit plans, just step outside and wander.
We left with full hearts, happy memories, and one very certain plan: we will absolutely stay here again the next time we visit Switzerland.
Bathroom was a bit small but much bigger and better than many other hotels where we have stayed in Europe.

The room was amazing, with beautiful decor and vibe. Location is on the quieter side, which is perfect for those who want to have a quiet evening. Staffs are very friendly and communicative, and breakfast was amazing.
would've been nice to have a small electric kettle at the room for tea or coffee.

Location for walking is perfect. Parking is at the Opera House but that is super close and very east to walk to. The room was great and staff was super helpful.
There is construction on the street next to the hotel and they started really early and were really loud so I would suggest a room that doesn't have a window on that cross street.

The close the lift at night so when coming back late we had to climb stairs - inconvenient for an expensive hotel like that!
