Newly built in 2016, Placid Hotel Zurich offers double rooms and suites on the 5 top floors of a 12-floor business tower in Zürich Albisrieden-Altstetten. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the property. All rooms come in a timeless design with precious materials and feature a flat-screen TV, a digital concierge service with an iPad, a seating area and a coffee machine with complimentary coffee capsules. They have floor-to-ceiling windows, which can be opened. The bathroom is separated from the room by a glass wall integrating it to the wholeness of the room and features a shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries. I love the panorama window and how smart the room is. It also has a really big closet and wide space. Seperated toilet and shower room is also the best option.
The air conditioner was not as cool as I expected. Would be perfect if it's cooler. Should have placed more shelf for extra shampoos and shower gels from the guests to place on in shower room, and for toilets also need somewhere to place things.

Easy access to public transportation. Openness of the hotel rooms layout, open balcony facing view of Zurich, wide hallways . Very clean hotel.
Not much, just the long wait to access our room after jet lag and exhaustion from lack of sleep.

The upper floor has outstanding view to the city, having panoramic window. We were at 11th floor and really enjoyed the vision of Zurich at night and in the morning. The room is spacy and has everything you need for comfortable stay. Parking place for the car is very good, allowing you to park your car normally and leave the car without any problem. And the glass wall between shower and the room made use of shower really lovely.... :))
Nothing actually, except the price, but Zurich is actually quite expensive city... Otherwise everything was ok, thanks to the staff.

Modern hotel in a quiet (on a weekend) area. Love the modern design of the rooms and the Minergie heating/cooling. Staff is really helpful.
I appreciate the modern approach but the transparent bathroom wall can be unusual for some. Also, the sunblind is only half-efficient.

Good value for money for Switzerland. Location is not in the city centre but quite well connected. The rooms were clean and the design is well thought through.
WiFi was slow and we had troubles with connecting our devices. The shower is open and water spills everywhere if you are not careful enough, also waterfall shower was not working.
