Location
The whole check in situation was a mess....I was paying for my daughter and her daughter which they would not let me do even though I was never told that at check in until we had already checked in. They never said anything about charging my daughter until we had left which was pretty slimy.

Air conditioning was terrible in the heat wave of 90°- we were told to open the windows, cleaning service kept moving our personal belongings around in the room, bathroom had potent smell of urine

Air conditioners do not cool room. I had to change rooms 3 times. First one was broken, 2nd and 3rd were just moderately cool. Didn't have anything to do with the positioning of the windows, it wasnt the weather outside. Another customer had come out to complain about the air conditioning as well.
I had book a family, had to change to a much smaller room. I was offered a 80chf refund though I paid over 1000chf. Felt they could have done a bit better having to change rooms at 3am in the morning.

I would like to thank you monsieur Atef for his attentiveness and pertinent advice during our breakfast. He let us know about the pride parade happening in Zurich and that was super helpful to get to our train on time. Thank you for your kindness :)
This hotel is what I expected, a comfortable place to sleep with reasonable air conditioner, and a great breakfast for start the day.
The front desk staff was a bit hit and miss. Some were helpful while other did not care to mention the basic things about the hotel. The location is good but beware that there is construction all around, so walking in this area can be a bit tricky.

Location was convenient. A 10-15 min walk to Old Town with numerous shops, restaurants & cafés. About 5-8 min to closest tram stop (10 min to Zurich Train station). We picked a room with a balcony and turned out fantastic, we sat on our little rooftop terrace enjoying the sun after a long day of walking everywhere. Modern hotel with modern conveniences. We didn't take the breakfast option, but in hindsight, perhaps we should have since it was good value considering neighbouring cafés.
The room seemed a bit small but functional. The balcony made up for it for us, giving us a place to chill.
