The bed was comfortable, although the bed quilt was too hot and they need to have a separate sheet option for sleeping comfort. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The a la carte breakfast was excellent with a friendly waitress. The location was good, very close to a tram stop on line 3 from central station as well as line 2 to the lake. There are several restaurants nearby as well as the hotel restaurant. There are 2 supermarkets quite close. The 4 minibar drinks were included in the room price. There are two lifts, but first you have to take your bags up several steps to the lift level, the staff will assist however.
The room is advertised as air conditioned, but there was no air conditioner in the room at all. We were told it was because of the city's environmental rules. The temperature was in the 20 degree range and the room was extremely hot. When we complained, we were advised to turn down the thermostat on the central heating to minus 10 and open the window. They gave us a portable fan to help with air flow (noisy). The bathroom is dangerous in that you have to climb over the edge of the bath to access the shower while at the same time trying to hold open the shower screen to avoid stepping onto the slopey end of the bath. To get out, there is no grab rail and you need to hang onto the towel rail to avoid falling out. The bath surface was slippery and there was no safety mat.

I was happy not to be staying in the middle of the city, but near the tram for easy access. My room was large, so I was able to spread out for my final packing before leaving the country. I had probably one of my best nights sleep there, which was needed at that point of my travels. The people at the front desk were very helpful answering my questions. And of course, the ice cream! So good!

Bed sheets and pillows and room still smells as someone used it but it looks like clean. You can smell the saliva from the person used it. Luckily I have my alcohol/ Lysol and own pillow case. There is no ramp to roll the heavy luggage. It has to be carried up before you reach the elevator.

Nice reception staff. Comfy bed and a couple of free fridge drinks in the room. Breakfast exceeded my expectations - but book a little bit more time to fully enjoy it, as you will need to order items from the menu.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights.
Staff at front reception very friendly.
Room was comfortable and quiet.
The only criticism I can give is no glass or china cups only cardboard.

The hotel and room were very clean and tidy. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The staff here were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The hotel should be really proud of them. The tram station was about 100 meters up the road, and this took you into the city. The restaurant served great meals and the staff there were great.

The reception desk was very welcoming! The rooms were very comfortable. We did not eat at the hotel however did have a few drinks on the outside patio. Parking was available on site at the front of the hotel.

The rooms were lovely and clean. Good central location and value for money.
The staff member who checked us in wasn’t particularly helpful or welcoming.
Breakfast was extremely expensive and a bit of a rip off with .50 CHF charged for TAP water.

This was the only hotel we stayed at during a week long vacation throughout Switzerland that had AC and it was fantastic. Clean and cool rooms, and the front desk staff was super helpful. We had an early morning flight and were planning on just taking the train but thanks to the helpful front desk people, they recommended we just book an Uber the day before. This made our departure so much easier and stress-free. Highly recommend Hotel Stoller.

Nice rooms (we had 3). Great location for access to Old Town. Friendly staff who were conscientious when we had to store luggage upon early arrival. Nice outdoor seating restaurant for a bite and a beer.
One Type-C socket. I had US adapters for Type-C and Type-J so lots of charging options.

Beautiful hotel, extremely friendly and helpful staff, amazing ice cream cafe and restaurant! The breakfast was simply amazing. Great ambiance, cosy, delicious food (and free for the kids!) The hotel is very well located (6 min with the tram). We stayed there with our two kids who loved it. Close to parks, supermarkets etc. Great room, spacious, comfortable, clean and not too hot, with lots of windows and natural light. We would happily stay there again.
