We had an amazing stay here. The receptionists were very friendly and always explained everything clearly. Also, the location is excellent and very central, with easy walking access to trains and regional buses. Highly recommended. :)

All of the staff at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful with suggestions and recommendations. The breakfast staff was very good serving your drink of choice and restocking items on the buffet. Rooms were very clean.

Good location (the centre of Zürich is easily reached by tram, a few hundred meters away), friendly staff, reasonable price, nice vibe. A nice touch is the always available pitcher of lemon water in the foyer!
This is not really a drawback, but there is no more staff after 22h and if one forgets one's key card in the room going to the shared bathroom, one can be locked out by accident. So forgetful people should be aware of this point.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights. Everything was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located near the station. I got a room on the top floor with a balcony. The view was great and I felt very peaceful. Overall, I was very impressed.

Clean, quiet and comfortable room. Excellent communication from helpful, well-organized staff. Late check-in instructions were very clear and simple. Location was convenient to trams, a short ride to the old town.
The strong Swiss franc combined with the weaker dollar made Zurich very expensive. But that's not the hotel's fault. We paid a lot, but the hotel was a good deal compared to other Zurich hotels.

Quaint older bldg but very much up to date inside. Very comfortable single bed room with private bathroom & shower. Quiet location with easy short walking distances to trams or just walking into town. Felt very safe walking alone. Zurich is a beautiful city.

Good location for exploring this date, nice and quiet.
Because it's an old building, the elevator is about the size of a coffin- if one was claustrophobic it would be pretty bad. We could put my spouse and our two bags in the elevator, while I took the stairs.
The European style bed covers- basically a quilt - didn't work well in late July. I could either have nothing on top of me or quilt on top of me and because the room wasn't air conditioned, neither one of these was a good option.
