Disappointing
Location is nice. Restaurant Cinque very good too. Spa is small but nice.
In the room we found no slippers. After 3 calls to the reception and 45 minutes waiting, I had to go to the SPA on the other side of the hotel complex to pick them up myself. There was no staff at the outdoor pool, even though the pool itself was open for guests. We announced we would come with a dog, but found no dedicated item (water bowl or similar) in the room, unlike any other (even non-5 star) hotel we’ve stayed over the past years. There were long delays in replenishing the breakfast buffet and, while seated at a table for breakfast, nobody came asking if we wanted something (coffee, eggs…). Overall, for a 5 star hotel, it didn’t offer 5 star service at all.

Very Poor
To be honest it was misleading. Never stated in their booking that rooms are on the other side of the main hotel , they show you online something and it’s all the way in back with a strange underground tunnel where you walk around 5/6 mins.
Staff were okay but it wasn’t our pleasant visit at all .
Very very misleading , two different entrance. Main hotel is nice but they never stated in their online booking about an other side where the rooms are , very misleading. Not happy at all , asked for a morning coffee took three hours , kept calling them and then they won’t pick up the call , then they sent it In a take away cups. Very disappointing, we came all the way from London and I thought it was five star but it’s not ,
Double room is way too small and it has no window ! Yes no window that opens , its claustrophobic, bathroom is no way practical, when you shower the water goes everywhere .

Disappointing
It’s been a month. But hotel still didn’t release my deposit of around 500chf.
Also we agreed about 1 night less and they were supposed to pay me back-not done as welll
My emails remain in vain. They stopped answering since 1 week. To my regrets.

Worst stay ever in this hotel
When they give you a room in the other building, you have to walk 4 to 6 minutes, for older people could be a nightmare.
The shower gets all the water out propbably in less than 2 minutes.

Very nicely decorated with a rock music vibe. Game room, staff was excellent. Good towels and linens
A little removed from everything and the room was nicely appointed but tiny. We were on a 14 day trip with two suitcases and all there was for clothes was a small closet and two drawers in each of the nightstands. Great if you are just traveling with a backpack. Really couldn’t unpack. Our “wing” was a 3 minute walk through a tunnel. It had a small reception area that was rarely staffed. Toiletries were very good

The hotel has two different wings. They dont indicate the specific hotel wing when you're booking. The photos they have posted on booking.com are for the premium side of the hotel, no photos of the other wing. When you check in they send you to the inferior wing. I found this to be misleading.

Unfortunately, very little. The hotel failed to meet even basic expectations, let alone the standards expected of a luxury five-star property.
Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. Our room had no functioning heating, and despite raising the issue with the hotel, nothing was done to resolve it.
We were allocated a room in the East Wing, which was approximately a 15-minute walk from the main lobby. Accessing reception was so inconvenient that we had to rely on a shuttle service, which was poorly organised and frustrating.
The location itself was also extremely inconvenient, making it difficult to enjoy Zurich without additional travel.
Most concerning of all were the apparent fire safety issues. Fire exits in the East Wing appeared to be inaccessible, which raised serious concerns about how guests would evacuate in an emergency.
For a hotel advertising itself as a luxury resort, the lack of basic comfort, poor accessibility, inadequate customer service and apparent safety concerns were completely unacceptable.
I genuinely could not wait to leave and would not recommend this hotel.

Quit and clean
Don't accept east wing, it is far away walk and need time and effort to carry your luggage with difficult directions. They offered me upgrade to junior suite with extra fee and when I refused they punished me to east wing and was bad experience

We have been hosted in Five hotel for almost 4 years, every single trip to Zurich this is our choice for our hotel always. The place is wonderfull, the building and the sunround nature ways. We always enjoy our stay and the service

We had a wonderful stay and everything was perfect from start to finish. The hotel was comfortable, quiet, clean, and very pleasant. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the food was really good as well.
We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and truly enjoyed the whole experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.
