The location is convenient, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean and nicely decorated.
Rooms facing the railway are noisy. Trains are clearly audible even from the fifth floor, so light sleepers should ask for a room on the other side. The shower door is clear glass, which leaves no privacy when sharing the room. The minibar is complimentary, which is a nice touch, but it isn't restocked regularly, even when you ask.

The staff is exceptionally good! Every one of them from the ones at reception to the ones at Breakfast were just brilliant! They actually gave us an early check in at 8am or so which is just so good of them! I will choose them anytime due to this gesture combined with the staff experience. Breakfast was exceptional - the food on offer and the table service like eggs to order were excellent. Location is also good with the central train station a short walk away. Be prepared for quirky design ideas in the room :-)
The only concern was that as there was no AC (again - know hotels in Europe choose this when they feel summer is over) but customer should be informed. Booking.com also is accountable for this. So when we kept windows open, there was fair bit of noise from outside.

The property is easy to get to from the main Bahnhof. There’s food and grocery nearby and there are other transit access points as well. The staff is helpful and friendly, and they even got the sauna going a little early for us after a long travel day. The rooms are lovely, and the shower is truly amazing.
Switzerland has had a hot year, and on our arrival, in October, it was still unseasonably warm. There was no AC in the room, and leaving the window open at night to cool the room had us met with loud bars/clubs nearby and the trains that seem to run 24/7. Earplugs are a necessity, and a small fan made things a bit more doable.

The property is well located, easy to find, and quirky in a good way. They have a lot of local touches inside and products for sale as well as a Freitag shopping bag in your room to use. The check in process was easy, and the staff friendly.
We stayed on a Saturday night, and apparently the bar downstairs and another nearby have outdoor seating that was open and very loud until very late at night. As it was warm, we were sleeping with the window open, and it made it difficult to sleep. I thought there were noise ordinance laws in Switzerland?

The hotel has a beautiful, spontaneous, and unconventional design, especially in the rooms. The breakfast was also varied and delicious.
Unfortunately, the check-in experience was disappointing. The staff member was not friendly or patient and did not take the time to explain the hotel or its facilities. He barely mentioned the room floor number and did not provide any information about the hotel’s housekeeping policy.
As a result, I was not aware that I needed to request room cleaning for the following day. When I returned to the hotel around 5 PM, the room had still not been cleaned, and I had to request housekeeping myself.

Was surprisingly nice facilities despite the quirky decor. Good restaurants nearby in the technology park.
Rooms were a bit unusual decor but very clean and sufficiently spacious. Very clean. Was a bit far from the action but still very accessible on foot.

Superb breakfast with made to order omelettes and hot drinks! Fresh juice maker and more! Very creative decor! Excellent helping staff including Cindy, Daniel, Art and others! Free fridge and refills! Best of all was the free electric Volvo that one could reserve daily!
The gym needs maintenance! The treadmill was not working and the bicycle seat was broken.

close to train station for our flight
reception wasn’t very welcoming (walked in and greeted the reception desk but was ignored at first). room was on 2nd floor right on top of train tracks so noisy at night. didn’t explain that they would charge a hold on the card at check in and charge for the room again at checkout. mini fridge in the room doesn’t actually keep anything cold (asked reception and there was no way to fix). supplies for pour over coffee provided in room but filter disintegrated while making coffee so ended up with bitter undrinkable coffee. near red light district so you will see prostitutes milling about

Nice and comfortable mattress, quiet for getting a good rest. Mini bar refill for free of charge!
Close to train station and restaurants.
Wish it had little more lighting.
It needed some sort of chair or wooden box like to place carry-on suites for 2 people.
A little more cooling capability would have been nicer.

Exceptional
An amazing hotel with special designs in all spaces. Attention is given to all details, and services are of the highest quality. Breakfast is very extensive and includes a buffet and a la carte service with special Mediterranean dishes. The vibe is amazing and the staff is super friendly and intelligent. Close to the Zurich Hbf and clubs area, yet it's very quiet.
The main caveat for older or partially disabled people is a relatively high difference in levels between the bedroom area and the rest of the room, which might be risky if you don't mind your step.

Room was really quiet, which was unexpected but a pleasure. Air conditioning was great. Breakfast was good and had incredible variety. Evening meal outside was lovely. Location near Hauptbahnhof was convenient.
It would be nice if staff came in daily and removed recycling/used bottles and trash and automatically refilled what was used instead of having to stop at the front desk and request it. When we did request one time in the morning, it still hadn't been refilled by the afternoon and we had to ask again. Not a big deal, but it would be a nice touch especially since it isn't cheap to stay here.
