Very Good
Breakfast was excellent. Owner Thor and wife provided excellent service. Was picked up at train station on arrival and on checkout, drove us to the train station.
Room was tiny. Barely enough space for our hand luggage ( we did not have any large check-in bags) .

The hosts, Michele and Thor and the Romntica staff were friendly, energetic and helpful with hiking trails and history around Zermatt.
The beds were comfortable, the water so clean you can drink it from the tap and the breakfasts efficient and delicious!

Love everything. Room is small but cozy and shows attention to details. Hosts are amazing. They make sure guests feel home and have great recommendations for different visitors. The included breakfast has various healthy option as well. Not to mention the lovely garden and decors in lobby and dinning area :)

Thor and Michelle were great hosts! Thor's suggestions for things to do in the area and places to eat were spot on. The location was perfect - easy walking distance from the train station and centrally located in town. The room was very comfortable with a deck to enjoy the beautiful view of the town and the alps. They served amazing breakfasts - complete with a variety of pastries, scrambled eggs, meat, yogurt, coffee/tea, and juice.

Immaculate property and room. Michelle and Thor were so helpful and accommodating. Bed was the most comfortable of any hotel weve stayed in. A true slice of Swiss charm.
Nothing we didnt like. Please request the hotel shuttle if you are elderly or have heavy luggage.

Lovely and unique hotel run by really nice folks. Feels secluded though the center of Zermatt is just steps away. After a heat wave for the first week of our trip, we magically arrived in winter in Zermatt (in August!) - snow everywhere! Had a great time hiking in fresh snow in view of the Matterhorn once the clouds/fog finally lifted. They upgraded our room, and it was especially nice. Lovely view over the historic buildings of the old town and to the mountains beyond. Very nice breakfast. Perfect location. The flowers in the garden are amazing. Just a wonderful stay.

The location is right in the heart of the town with lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. It was very cosy, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were the nicest couple you could meet.
