I loved the location, that it was only about 6 mins walk from Zermatt Bahnhof, that it was by the river and you could hear the sounds of the flowing water. Good Feng Shui according to the Chinese. You could see the Gornegrat Bahn passing by, and hear the church bells ringing from the room balcony I had the privileged to enjoy for the 2 nights I was there. And the staff at the reservation, such a sweet lady and so accommodating to my questions. Thank you Alpine Hotel Perren for giving me such a great start to my 8 nights traveling solo in the Jungfrau region.

near the train station.
We paid additional for the Matterhorn view but its not worth it because we got the 1st floor and the Matterhorn view was blocked by the chimney of the hotel that is in front of us. Not worth the additional charge.

Location is fsbulous: close to train. Garnergort rail team. Property is well kept and attractive. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Every thing on and around the hotel is spotless! Restaurant is excellent. Staff are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a place to return to.

The view of the Matterhorn from our balcony was AMAZING! Beds were the most comfortable on this trip. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. The staff was very welcoming, warm and helpful. i would definitely recommend staying here!
