Location
Room didn't have landline phone to call reception or restaurant for room service. For request like bottle opener had to go to reception. Also for Room service food also had to go again down all the way to the restaurant to order food for the room. Never have seen a hotel where for room service you have to take elevator and go to restaurant. Tried to ring reception directly from mobile so many times as there was no Landline provided but no one was answering.
If there is fire or medical emergency how should guest contact reception who are first contact in these cases.
Was there for 2 nights and informed reception about problem and nothing was done to resolve on next day also or do room move.

Location was perfect, close to train and Gornergrat stations. Away from the noise in town.
There was no counter space in the bathroom for toiletries.

Rooms were comfortable, facilities good. Nice pool and sauna area.
Breakfast choice was very average for a 4* hotel - no soft boiled eggs, poached or fried option. Only omelette or the buffet scrambled. Staff reluctant to offer anything else. No offer of help to station with bags. Most people walked up the steep hill with bags, but if you insist they will drive your bags to the station on departure day.. bedroom walls were very thin. We could hear every word of convo next door. Duvets very synthetic.

We had a suite, which had a separate twin bedroom and a living room with large sofa bed and a dining table. Very roomy. Balcony faced the mountains. Large bathroom with shower and separate bath.
Slight criticism, no secure ski locker or luggage room for last day so bags stored in a hall next to reception. Nothing was taken from either area, and I have stayed here before without a problem, but I do always wonder if my stuff will still be there when I return. Very easy for someone to take your skis/boots even by accident.

Location is excellent, walking distance from the train station. The room is good sized with excellent window views. Breakfast has typical offering of Swiss hotels. Swimming pool is also good sized with heated water.
The toilet size is a bit small, the bathtub is excessive. Its unfortunate that the pantry/sink was locked and not allowed to be used whilst the reason does not make sense.
