The hall of fame of the worst hotel that you can imagine, starting that they discriminate the foreigners, the service is the worst. It is difficult to say everything happened, but I have to call booking.com in order to help me, they were trying to give me one room that nobody likes at the roof and since I refuse to take it because you can hit your head with the ceiling, they literally try to put me in one room and oust next day to place me in the other room, because "other guest, he like it a lot" (do other guest are more important than others?). I spoke with the manager to fix the problem, because he show up on the dinner to say: "I am the Boss". So I spoke with him in order to solve the problem and he says "I would think about it", and after a few minutes that I return to my room, a lady came and says: "you can stay in the same room the 2 nights you book". I was hoping the next day not having a problem, but I could not enter to my room. So inevitably I spoke with the reception (they thought we do not understand the local language) and said that he would not come by to fix the problem, so other lady came to the reception, and instead of fixing the problem (initially after mentioning all the trouble), she mention," if you are not confortable with this hotel, why you do not go and we refund the last night" (I stay for 2 nights). Well I told her that if I have another option I will take it, but other hotels were full, so that was the least bad option to me. They told me that the initial problem was that I have to see the photos on booking.com, but they publish 2 different photos from 2 different rooms, and after I try to pay for the difference (because I told them, that I honest person, and I do not need to give for free anything) and they refuse. Next evening in the restaurant I only ate the salads, and after some hours I have diarrea. I definitely not recommend the property (only if you are from Switzerland)

Staff is wonderful. Rooms are super clean and silent. It was a great experience.

The staff were incredibly hospitable - and I mean everyone! From the shuttle to the front desk, the lobby bar, and the fine dining restaurant, everyone was warm, friendly, and eager to make you feel at home. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and especially well-suited for a family with two young boys. Most other properties will either suggest two separate rooms or a suite, which doesn't work as well. The highlight of our stay, however, was dinner in the fine dining restaurant - Ovis. The tuna teriyaki, in particular, was worthy of all 16 Gault Millau points for the exceptional restraint with which it was prepared. Our compliments to the chef.

Stunning views

We have just returned to the UK from Zermatt and the experience of the town and the hotel was absolutely outstanding. We found Swiss people incredibly friendly, and of course the mountain scenery is out of this world. All team at the hotel, and Chris in particular, took excellent care of us throughout our stay. They were all super helpful attending to all of our needs. We booked a room with Matterhorn view which was spectacular! The hotel is located only 5 minutes walk from the main shopping and restaurants street, which was very convenient.

As a family leisure, we went for the suite, excellent for two adults and two children, everyone enjoyed it. The spa area is not big, but excellent for a few people, Sauna rooms are very designed and maintained. Breakfast was good. The restaurant OVIS was excellent, the chef, staff, food was amazing.

Room is very nice and good view unfortunately for me is when i stay not a good weather so I cannot get a good view. But if it clear I'm sure. Staff very nice to helpful us to go anywhere. Breakfast is very good very nice. If you choose some hotel at zermatt. This hotel is your choice. When I checkout staff tell me can leave luggage there. When I finish matterhorn and go down to station. I can call them and they will bring my luggage to station.
