Very Good
Great views, spacious, somewhat dated in certain areas but high quality materials and well kept. Also two full size balconies with amazing Matterhorn views. And a nice swimming pool to add!
In some places the apartments needs a bit of work, but these are only minor things that do not really bother much. Also a smart tv would be nice to have. Pillows were way too soft and unsupportive.

Very nice and spacious property. The view was amazing! From both balconies we could see the Matterhorn.
We arrived at 3 o’clock instead of 5. The early access was denied, because we had booked through Booking.com. Had we booked directly with the property and not through booking.com, we could have entered the property early OR for a fee of $50
Each person had one towel and one hand towel for the entire stay. This included using the pool. When I asked for a second towel, I was told that the fee for one extra towel was about $25 per towel per person. I made it clear that I didn’t want to buy the towel. The answer was “You are in Switzerland “.
The Chalet is a hike up the hill. I was aware that the house had lots of stairs, but I was not made aware that there was a road construction which didn’t let the taxi get closer to the Chalet. Therefore, we had to drag the suitcases quite a way up the steep hill. This took away lots of the enjoyment.
I had to make the payment for the Apartment in Swiss francs directly to Zermatt Premium. The lady on the phone was very friendly, but the procedure was stressful.

The view was amazing, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, the pool was a great add!
The walk from the train station is long, and construction made it longer. There is an uphill climb that gets old but you sacrifice for the view.

Very Poor
We couldn’t get into Zermatt due to avalanche danger. We therefore had to get a couple of days accommodation elsewhere. We waited 2.5 days and finally the train opened up in the evening of the third day but we had to stay in our alternative accommodation or sleep in the car, as things were so unsure. We were only being told info on instagram, which kept saying stay away from Zermatt.
The owners didn’t care less and kept saying that we booked non-flexible accommodation. This was of course totally out of our control and they expected us to be just waiting, even though we had no indication of anything from the authorities.
Basically, they just wanted our money and didn’t care about our wellbeing. We stayed there on the last night and drove hours but they not understanding whatsoever and didn’t care. Just kept repeating about claiming on our insurance and the fact we hadn’t booked flexible dates.
The place was ok when we stayed there but their unhelpful stance just made things worse.
Poor form and clearly care only about money

The view can’t be beat! Perfect spot to see the Matterhorn.
It’s steep getting to the chalet with some stairs too. Don’t pack too heavy.
It’s time for the bathroom to be renovated, but the unit has everything you need.

Absolutely everything. From the moment we started the booking process Tanja reached out and helped us through the booking process. It was also lovely to meet her when she paid us a visit whilst there. I think it is always a positive to meet the host.
The chalet was clean and perfectly equipped. It was a true home from home. A nice sized bathroom, although we couldn't see the Matterhorn from our window there was still a lovely view. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was well equipped with all the things you would need to self cater.
It was about a 10 minute walk down to the middle of Zermatt and about 10 minutes to the cable car station so in a perfect location. We honestly could not of asked for a more magical location to spend our time in Zermatt and also celebrate the wife's birthday. Thank you for helping us make such fantastic memories. We will be sure to return.
There was absolutely nothing not to like. Yes there is a steep path up to the chalet but hey you are in the mountains. There are steep paths everywhere.
We would advise to get a taxi when you first arrive to get to the chalet. Then walk down to town once you are ready to explore. Once you have done it once it is an easy route to follow. Just turn right at the end of the path and head down the hill ( there is a path with steps on the first corner, use them and you will be halfway there).
To get to the cable car turn left at the end of the path and follow the road. You will soon see the cable car station. Again just follow the path down and you are there. There are free buses but we honestly didn't use them once.
I have put this NOT as any form of criticism but just as hopefully a bit of advice from our experiences. As I first stated we could not find anything we didn't like regarding our wonderful stay at Chalet Kisseye !! Thank you Tanja we hope to see you again sometime in the future.

The apartment was very luxurious. We all had our own rooms with our own ensuites. The views of the matterhorn were spectacular.
The climb to the apartment was horrendous. It wouldn't be suitable for older guests or people with mobility issues. We found ourselves going out to explore less because we didn't want to keep climbing back up to the apartment.

Awesome view of the Matterhorn and mountains, nice size room with good utilities
Leg burning uphill walk from town centre to Chalet, about 35CHF to get a taxi there so unless you are rich start doing your leg days

Very poor lighting in all the rooms . So very dark and a little dismal. The kitchen had basic utensils missing. The chalet could really do with a make over. But clean and wonderful views of the Matterhorn from the balconies. A long uphill walk from village centre which was not made clear in the information about the chalet.
