The apartment in the Chalet is beautiful, comfortable and clean. The location is good. A bit far, but manageable. A little more information on how easy it is to get the mini taxies would have been helpful.
The Spa was nice but had limited hours, which was disappointing. I wanted to use it in the morning and it does not open until 15:00. It was also difficult to turn on, and while it automatically turned off, there isn't any information on that, so we were confused. More information on the Spa would have been good.

Wonderful
very clean well maintained property with room for my family of five. We could see Matterhorn from the balcony. Modern appliances. There’s washer and dryer on the ground floor that requires exact change.
there’s also steam room and sauna.
The location is in the far end of town so it’s a bit of a hike to get to supermarket and we had to pay for taxi to carry the groceries back which each way cost $33.
It would also be nice to get more soap for handwashing and also to shower with. The supermarkets are crazy crowded and everything closes at six or seven pm!

Apartment facilities and views.
The property is pretty far from Zermatt train station and main tourist district. It's not exactly walking distance and the electric taxis are pretty expensive. The red line bus goes to a nearby stop but times are limited. The description on Booking.com makes it look like it's 15-20 minute walk, but it's not like that. From Zermatt station it's pretty far and only uphill. If you have some luggage, it becomes a good hike. I wish they made it more clear.

The apartment is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The wellness SPA area is very good after a day skiing.
The suite bathroom has a bathtub but no overhead shower, which would be convenient to have as you don't always feel like having a tub bath. The "floor" of the tub is also very slippery.
The very late check in time at 5pm and very early check out time at 10am do not suit travellers and is not common practice in the tourism business.

- We generally would never recommend this apartment to anyone given its outrageous price
- Overall misrepresentation of the apartment vs pictures
- Inconvenient location far from ski lifts
- Poorly furnished with tired furniture
- No capsules for the dishwasher or nespresso machine. We had to clean dishes manually
- We could not find the trash closet, it was not indicated in the guide and we had to carry our trash to another building
- Low pressure in the shower
- Charged us CHF 100 for a lost key and harassed us for the payment, which we always accepted

Keys were located where promised. Very accessible and easy to access. The place is AMAZING! Absolutely gorgeous. The fire place is incredible! Vaulted ceilings. New appliances. All automated system. Heated floors throughout the apartment. The spa is great! The spa was wonderful after a full day of hiking. Great bathrooms, showers, lighting, etc. HUGE balcony with spectacular views. Fully furnished with anything you could possibly need. Comfortable beds, couches, and dinning area. Very, very quiet location. BEAUTIFUL views! Just wonderful!
The location was not easy to find. The building is completely obstructed from the street. Fortunately, our taxi driver was able to point us in the proper location. But, the directions gave absolutely no information regarding the location. We arrived after dark and would have been completely lost without the taxi driver. In addition, understand, you are COMPLETELY on your own here. There is no communication from the owner/operator. We reached out twice via WhatsApp with questions regarding departure. No response. In addition, the instructions inside the apartment are lacking. Again, you are completely on your own. We had to figure out the t.v., Bose sound system, fire place, heating, and appliance operation. There is no instruction at all. If you are tech savvy, you will be fine. But we could not get a number of things working. This place is simply amazing, but there are some other oddities. The master bedroom is connected to a bath. There is no door for the bathroom. So, if someone is on the toilet and wants privacy, the other person needs to be kicked out of the master bedroom. In addition, if your partner gets up early to use the bathroom, the person in bed will be subjected to the bathroom light. This was REALLY odd and unfortunate. Very strange to have your toilet, essentially, in your bedroom. Finally, it is WAY outside the main area of Zermatt. It was quite the hike to get to the main strip, the restaurants, and the grocery store. You really need to plan ahead.

Perfect for a longer stay where you want a decent kitchen and space to breathe. Close to the bus stop and in a quiet part of town. Rooms are spacious and the facilities at the apartment were great. We loved using the raclette machine and fondue machine for various dinners.
The place is an up hill walk if you are coming from the centre of town. Can be an issue for tired legs or those with mobility issues. There is a bus but stops after 8 or 9pm so if you are ok to wait or ok to walk back from a dinner in town, there are no issues.
