Had a wonderful room with a view of the Matterhorn. The Breakfast each morning was delicious with a large selection. We loved utilizing the spa, it was the perfect place to stay.

The room was large.
The staff were pleasant - some more than others.
Breakfast was fresh and plentiful
The room had slanted ceilings that were low & I often bumped my head. There was no air-conditioning so I had to leave the patio door open & there was a baby crying all night and other sounds.
The beds were uncomfortable & small. The bed duvet was noisy and cumbersome.
I would have preferred a second sheet or light blanket.

Quiet location, great vibe, amazing helpful staff and fantastic property with great amenities, spa and very spacious rooms, and the main and the best part….Our room was a Matterhorn facing room and ohh boy..what a beautiful view. Can be seen in the images I have shared.

Everything. It is the best place to stay in Zermatt
Some fraudster got my booking number and dates and tried to verify my credit card. Since the word reservation was misspelled I became suspicious. I send all my emails to Booking .com and the hotel and we had to cancel the reservation and make it again. This was stressful. I’ve NEVER reply to any link outside of the app.

walking distance to both train station and cable car station , very convenient

Location was excellent. Facilities were excellent and included breakfast was tremendous. Family room was perfect for us. Had Matterhorn view from Balcony. Could stream videos to TV in room. Very comfortable stay and loved spa facilities everyday!
Ceiling fan or standing fan would make it better on really hot days.

Well run hotel. Friendly, helpful desk staff.
Restaurant was over-priced an abyssmal food. I order a beef tartare that came in a bone serving piece that was surrounded by rock salt that unavaoidably came in contact with the beef. Good news, it will likely be years before I will order beef tartare again. No 'croutes', no condiments, just a small amount of over-salty chopped beef.

The hotel is overall clean
The attitude for the lady at the front desk when we checked in is very bad. When we asked if there are labels for luggage’s stored in the storage room, she got very upset. Another case when we asked if there is high floor room available for view, they put us to the attic!!! It is not a regular room for all four of us. The side of ceiling is so low, my husband bumped his head 3 times. We paid so much high price for the room we looked at the booking, but turned out it was an attic. They should let us know in advance! The breakfast is standard.

We had a truly beautiful stay at the Alpenhotel Resort & Spa. The hospitality was exceptional—everyone made us feel so welcome. The location is fantastic, the breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning, and the views of the Matterhorn are simply stunning. Thank you for everything; we highly recommend this wonderful hotel!

Friendly staff, great gaming area, breakfast was good, family suite with plenty of room.
No iron in the room, I believe I was overcharged for my bar tab, they sent me a link to pay without any description of charges.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The view was beautiful, and the shuttle driver who picked us up from the station was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The spa facilities were also nice.
The service did not match the hotel’s premium price. During check-in, we experienced a noticeable difference in the level of service compared to another guest. While detailed information about the hotel and facilities was provided to the guest before us, we were simply handed a sheet of paper and told to read it ourselves. No explanation was given regarding the facilities, breakfast, spa access, or other important information. We also had to handle and transport all of our luggage ourselves. Overall, the staff’s attitude felt unwelcoming and disappointing.

The property and rooms were beautiful. Spa was too notch! Balcony and view of Matterhorn was chefs kiss. Breakfast was amazing with mimosas included. Helpful with luggage storage! Staff was amazing. Highly recommend 10/10

We got the Mountain View which was really nice. Weather did not cooperate but it is worth the extra price.
Room is spacious although the shower/toilet area isn't huge and the shower is not very comfortable at all.
SPA area is a plus. Super clean, well organised and designed.
Breakfast was also very good.
Shower area. Toilet is quite small.
Some renovations around so there was noise during the day. Not during night time.

My room was good value, I liked it.
The pool, gym and spa are very good. Regarding the spa, one thing could be improved in particular : having the hammam & sauna hoter. I go to quite a few of them and found these two at Alpen Resort were not hot enough.
Sauna & hammam could/should be hoter.
Breakfast was okayish. Could be improved by Swiss standards.

High quality, good value hotel. The spa is great and a real treat after some hard days of skiing. The breakfast is good. The ski locker room is very handy. The location isn’t central in Zermatt but getting the free bus to ski is easy. I would stay here again.
